I bought this briefcase to replace my very old Kenneth Cole leather case. I looked for a direct replacement and could not find anything of the same size or quality. I took a look at this bag from Vankean. It is a fabric bag (canvas?) and it is much taller and fatter than my old bag. lots of space for a large laptop. I have a 15" Surface laptop which have inserted into a "sleeve" which I have always used for extra protection. it all fits with no problem. I am sure a 17" laptop will fit easily, although maybe not with a sleeve. I took it on a airplane trip recently and it fit everything i would normally carry in my old bag - which is a lot - and even more. I kind of miss the feel and look of the leather but for the price point, size, and generally good layout of the bag, I am very happy. Zippers are very smooth and seem sturdy. Shoulder strap seems good, but I usually don't use it. The expandable section seems unnecessary for everyday use but it came in handy on my recent trip.

Quality bag that is spacious and can hold multiple electronic devices. The zipper quality is high. Useful, especially for travelling; when full, it fits in the under-seat space on a major airline.

This is a very good bag with lots of pockets, spacious with great zippers. Only reason I won't give it 5 stars is because it's water resistant not water proof. It will protect your valuables for light showers (like when they do the spill proof test). Water proof will protect for heavy rain that comes down hard, not this bag. Still a very good bag with lots and lots of pockets at a decent price. I still recommend it.

Just got a new 17.3" HP Laptop for my work and needed a good carry bag for it. Was drawn to this one as it had one feature that many do not: the ability to expand. There are times I travel overnight and need to pack light and this intrigued me. Upon arrival I pulled it out and was impressed with the material and workmanship. It looks nice and professional. Two of the zippers seemed stiff but running them a few times loosened them up just fine. Not too heavy (which is important as these 17" lappies can weigh quite a bit, but I like the extra screen space!). Lots of pockets for work 'stuff' of different sizes and the lappie fit in just fine: not too snug and not too loose. I read that some think there should be more padding; however, this one seems quite similar in padding to the many I've had over the years. As I hoped, the unit is great as it came; however, the ability to expand makes this an even better buy as you get a lot of extra room for things which would allow me to basically turn this into my carry-on for those quick overnighters. I also love that the shoulder strap can be removed as many similar units for sale don't have that feature. I'm giving it 5 stars for durability and sturdiness as it seems quite capable to the touch and is sewn together well (no threads or missed stitches, etc. The handles have a leatherette covering over the fabric that seems nice; however, I'll be watching it as I prefer just the hard-sewn fabric as sometimes material like this drys and cracks too easily. I'll update if things change; however, for the price, seems like a great buy and I hope it outlasts the laptop and can, like my previous one, go for at least two cycles for me.

This is big. Probably way more than I need. It has numerous compartments and I can fit my Windows laptop, my Mac, and my IPad and all accessories and still have room leftover. If you have to travel and carry a lot, this definitely has space. Seems to be well made.

Got this for my sister like a year or so ago. She still uses it regularly. Durable, holds up to daily use. Holds her gaming laptop, acre predator... 18in screen i think..

J'ai récemment acheté la sacoche VANKEAN pour ordinateur portable 17,3 pouces, et elle m’a vraiment impressionné. D’abord, sa capacité est idéale pour mon matériel : en plus de mon ordinateur, elle peut contenir un chargeur, un disque dur externe, des dossiers, et même quelques effets personnels. Niveau qualité, la sacoche est solide et bien finie, avec des matériaux imperméables qui protègent efficacement mes appareils. J’apprécie aussi les nombreux compartiments, bien pensés pour organiser chaque élément sans les mélanger. Côté confort, la poignée est rembourrée, et la sangle d’épaule ajustable rend le transport agréable même sur de longues distances. Quant au design, il est sobre et polyvalent, parfait pour un usage professionnel comme personnel. Pour le prix, elle offre un excellent rapport qualité/prix, surtout quand on compare avec d’autres sacs similaires. En bref, cette sacoche allie praticité, confort, et sécurité. Un choix que je recommande sans hésitation pour ceux qui cherchent une protection fiable et un bon espace de rangement pour leur ordinateur portable.

Excellent bag

This is the bag I've been looking for to replace my old 'Skyway' Airport carry on bag. Perfect size for over the shoulder carry on and has the right number of internal zippered pockets to make me feel more comfortable about the security of my passport and other important travel documents when flying (much better than an external zip that can be more easily accessed by the wrong people). Also has good firm shape unlike most duffel type bags which collapse and fold which I don't like. The tablet storage is important and laptop functionality is also handy. Once I get where I am going its also perfect for daily items as well. There is a place for everything which makes it easier to rummage through and find things quickly. Only criticism (feedback) is the small carry handles should be able to be secured together with a velco wrap/handle. Maybe that can be added in a future release but its a winner for me.

UPDATE - 5th June 2025 - one of the zips finally failed. This bag has done 5 day a week for 3 years and over 15 business trips abroad as a cabin bag. I'm going to buy it again as for £10 a year, it's well worth it. I bought my bag in May 2022. I needed a new everyday laptop/work bag and this fitted the bill. Due to the reasonable price, I wasn't sure about longevity but it has proved me wrong. The bag has loads of storage space, extra pockets etc and you'd be challenged to not find somewhere to store everything. It is also expandable by unzipping the middle zip. I use mine everyday for work, filling it with my laptop, other `stuff` and my executive lunchbox. It has also travelled abroad a few times. Great for carry on and fits very nicely under the aircraft seat in front of you - no need for the overhead locker scramble. I've attended trade shows and stuffed it full of all sorts. Also used it for an overnight stay as you can fit a change of clothes, washbag etc in it if needed. It's now 18 months old and still looks good. The one thing I expected to maybe go wrong was the zips and they still work perfectly. The only minor failure point was the shoulder strap `pad` is a bit tatty but I put one of those padded Velcro seatbelt pads on it and it's much more comfortable for day long carrying around. Overall - can't really fault it. If it went wrong after 2 or 3 years I'd still buy another, as it's not that expensive and so far it's been more reliable than more expensive versions.
