This product actually works! It smells strong (lemongrass& clove) but it is impressive!! I will also spray some into my hands and pat down my dog with it. Especially her ears. We are outside a lot in New England area. …..and they don’t bother her one bit!! Might have to apply it as it gets darker in the day a 2nd time, but that’s not bad at all in my book! Also I love the sprayer, it is a nice fine mist that covers a lot with each spray.

I almost didn't buy this because it's listed as a "lotion" and I didn't really want to be smearing it on my kids, but it's really closer to a spray. You can easily spray this on without rubbing it in, but if you keep the nozzle too close to the skin when spraying, it will come out in bigger droplets that are white. Be sure to shake well before use. So far, I'm pretty sure this works for all skin that is well-covered, but if you miss a spot the mosquitoes will still bite that spot. For example, my son was bitten on the hand but not the arms that were sprayed. So full coverage is important. The smell is quite strong, but dissipates within about an hour. It has a kind of sweet smell (maybe due to the vanillin in it). My kids like it, which is important to me, but if I get some on me, I smell it throughout the day even after washing my hands. This is not necessarilly a bad thing as it's pretty natural smelling, and not bad at all. The bottle is good quality. I've had other product nozzles fall apart, which makes it pretty hard to use the rest of the product, but this has lasted well so far. Overall, I think this product is worth it for avoiding DEET, but make sure you use plenty and cover all parts of the skin. I SWEAR by this product! I am a botanist and like to use organic safe products that are good for my skin, the environment, yet work on mosquitoes and ticks. This brand is all of that and more! I use it every year and one time I ran out of perfume and used the mosquito spray and someone asked me what perfume I was wearing! I’ve also been out taking a herb survey in a wet meadow with two other colleagues. One person used other brand tick spray and had 2 ticks on him, the other person didn’t use any spray and had 6 ticks on her, and I used YAYA Organics Tick Repellent (I know different version than mosquitoes) and I didn’t have a single tick on me. In fact I have not had a tick on me in the three years I’ve been using this brand. Is a mosquito is in the air I use this spray and I’m immediately left alone. Great product, great ingredients, great company to focus on healthy ingredients that ACTUALLY work with nature and against the demons we know as mosquitoes. Highly suggest!

The spray nozzle helps cover more surface area so it makes getting a nice coating on my legs or other exposed part of the body quick and easy. Also smells heavenly and it works to keep the mosquitos away

My husband and I were getting tore up by mosquitos one night so I decided to haul out my new Mosquito spray - Squito Ban!! It worked fabulously—we weren’t bothered for the rest of the night and we smelled like cloves and a combination of other amazing essential oils! Win, win!!
