This works well, but you have to be able to read Martian if you like having written instructions on proper use and functioning of your products. Also, I found the nightlight extremely annoying and there were NO instructions at all on how to shut it off. Luckily, I found an answer in the Q & A section on Amazon. Basically, the "instruction manual" is incomprehensible.

Let me start by saying I wish I had the option to give no stars so please note that the 1 listed is not accurate as I rate zero! When I open my package the first thing I noticed was that the package was not the product ordered. However, once I opened I found that the correct product was enclosed. The humidifier did not properly fit in the package received so I'm not certain if this had anything to do with the fact that the base was cracked. Obviously if anyone were to add water then the humidifier would leak so this in itself was upsetting. I also notice what appears like dirt particles all over the base and turn switch. When I remove the water portion I notice a mildew smell and much to my surprise there's mildew residew and water stains clearly visible within the unit. I am completely disgusted and cannot believe someone would even consider sending a used product in which I have received. Please be advised as the pictures speak for themselves. No one should consider ordering this product from a company that restocks and sends consumers broken used moldy products.

very quiet, one of the first things I have noticed about this one. I love the style of this one, it is a big one so you do not have to fill it up over and over again. We use these more in the winter, the winter makes the air very dry and my son gets nose bleeds. This works putting moisture in the air so he can sleep and not have nose bleeds. On testing this out I found the humidity not to be over powering, which is nice, but does a great job. This has dial adjustable mist so can be as heavy or light as you want. and would work as a nice night light in a roomI got this discounted in exchange for a honest review

When it arrived some of the components were not fully assembled and the instructions were not helpful. I did get it to work. The components inside were extremely basic and I have concerns about the durability. You can turn the light off, when it is on it cycles from one color to the next. For the price this is a good humidifier.

Mine has a small leak where the tank and base meet, but it does not compromise function and does not leak water, just steam. Super cute and streamlined for those of us who want a large reservoir but don't want to trade down on aesthetic.

The product comes in a box with Chinese writing and no instructions. I had to come back to Amazon.com and look at the photos to figure out how to make it work. Once I figured that out, it seems to work okay. It was very frustrating not to have instructions!
