Very nice well constructed and designed stand for any type of guitar. As good as some of my old chrome Prolines.

I love my new stand!
Grabbed this GLEAM stand on Amazon – genius for my acoustic! Sturdy steel frame holds secure, adjustable height fits perfectly, folds flat for gigs/travel. Rubber pads prevent scratches.

A stable stand that needs one improvement
This is a stable guitar stand that works well. There's two things about it that make it not a five-star stand in my opinion and one of the things must be changed to protect your guitar. There are four plastic tips that stick forwards on the ends of the padded shafts. The edges of those plastic tips could scratch your guitar because they stick out beyond the soft padding. Especially at risk of scratching your guitar are the ones up at the top where the neck of your guitar slips in behind a protective bar. The second problem is that bar should be able to move out of the way so you don't always have to put your guitar in from the side instead of straight from the front. It's there to keep your guitar from tipping forwards but it can't be moved out of the way. Those plastic tip edges could definitely scratch your guitar. I removed them and hot glued on four pieces of eva foam. Until I did that there was a sharp plastic edge that I could feel at the tip of each of the four spots that gets close to your guitar.

Just what my Danelectro needed
Good size, folds for transport, legs are sturdy and has neck holder. My brand new Longhorn loves her new stand and I like the stability for protection of her horns. Also, the legs don't splay out so I don't trip on them. Good price, fast shipping; a necessary item for delicate instruments.

Looks nice works perfectly
Looks nice and works perfectly. Holds my dreadnought perfectly. It’s metal so just use care putting it in and taking it out to avoid scratches ( common sense ).

Middle of the road smelly stand that works
First off, as other reviewers point out, it has a noticeable chemical smell. It immediately reminded me of mothballs, which is the chemical napthalene. It's on all the rubber components and strongest on the feet rubber caps. Design is great! Very narrow foot-print, and I especially like the curved-hook to hold the neck. The fold-up and carry in gig bag design is also a plus. However, construction is middle of the road. It's made with light weight metal parts and welding. The neck extension doesn't tighten well, so it's wobbly. The rivets look cheap and seem like they can break with any kind of rigorous use. OVERALL: for an extra $10 you can start to get something of similar design and better build. OPTIONS: all problems mentioned above are fixable with items from music or local hardware store: tube end-caps, replaceable rivets or small screws, etc. When all done, you've spent more than $10, so it begs the question 'why not just spend the extra $10-$15 up front'? I'm keeping it and will deal with it but not likely to buy again. UPDATE (2 DAYS LATER): replaced all four end caps on feet of stand with new rubber end caps from hardware store and the smell is not a problem now. Easy $4 fix.

La mejor base para guitarra de este precio
Había visto otras bases pero se ven muy inestables, ésta se ve que aunque tiemble mis guitarras se mantendrán en la base y ésta no se caerá.
