I love these pads for gentle exfoliation. One side is a bit rougher for exfoliation, while the other is smoother, intended to remove any topical skin debris. The pads are made so you slip in a finger or two into a pocket on the pad to gently rub the skin. I use them 2-3 times/week on my face, neck, décolletage, forearms and the backs of my hands. My skin, as a mature woman, is left clean, soft and ready to absorb face/body creams. The smell, somewhere between a grape popsicle and a glass of wine, is very pleasing. I also tried the lemon, but the wine pads are my faves.
