Leider hatte das Gerät einen dreipoligen UK Stecker und nicht den EU üblichen. Daher für mich unbrauchbar und Gerät wird somit zurückgeschickt. Sehr schade.

This item has issues with every single functionality it's supposed to provide and the worst of them is actually dangerous to human life! - Was using a batter attachment to make some batter and noticed there were some black little dots in my batter. Upon closer inspection realised it was plastic from the batter attachment! Now this was my second time using it, so it has not degraded due to heavy use and it has been properly cleaned before. Worst part is that now I am too worried to use any other attachments, because a lot of the parts are see-though plastic and would be impossible to spot if they were also degrading into the food. - Both blade knives started rusting within weeks of buying this. - The graters let through big un-grated chunks into the bowl. Works OK with the medium bowl, but that can only fit 2 carrots; and using with the big bowl there's a big gap between the blades and the bowl that lets lots of food through. - You have 4 graters provided, but two of them just mush any food into a mush and are completely unusable (they are supposed to be fine graters). The other two (coarse) work, but provide very finely grated food. If you want normally grated food (i.e. standard cheese grater size), you're out of luck. - Orange juicer leaves a substantial amount of oranges un-squeezed. I tried it with large, medium and small oranges and all have the same problem. Never seen this with any other juicers I used, just a waste of food. - The graters have a little curve and a gap that gets food stuck in there if you use vegetables with any skin. The only way to clean that is to pick it out with a toothpick, which is fiddly and time consuming. The whole point of these machines should be to save time.. - You get 3 pusher parts provided that are connected one onto another. Sounds like a great idea, except you're forced to use all three, and food gets between them, meaning you have to wash all 3 every time you use this. This is not the end of the world, but makes the cleaning longer. When you combine all little parts that need cleanings it can be faster not to use the machine and do things by hand. And no, it is not a common problem to food processors, with most of them you use and clean just a few parts at the time.

As usual the motor on this machine sounds strong and well made. It does the job in seconds. However, what was wonderful about my last Magimix was it's simplicity. There was one lid to the mixing bowl and an optional piece which fitted into the feeding tube if needed. I read the other reviews before buying and thought, there can't be that much to wash up after using this - but unfortunately there is - see my photograph. All these components are part of the lid. It's nuts. Why don't Magimix make a simple lid? I've already used our Vitamix in preference to my new machine while preparing soup this morning. Dear Magimix - please please listen to a regular cook - not to your designers - and make us a simple lid. One further comment - it hasn't been possible to register my purchase with Magimix because the online form won't accept the name of the machine. I wonder why?

I had used a magi mix a few years ago and always loved how much time it saved me. Finally, I've got around to buying my own and I absolutely love it. It's so easy to whip up batches of homemade hummus, pesto etc as well as cutting my food prep time down considerable. I love to cook at home so it's definitely a worthwhile investment. Plus they're really well built and my magi mix will probably outlast religion before it gives up the ghost. Even though there are cheaper food processors out there I would recommend investing in a magi mix to anyone who enjoys cooking as there are so many uses for it. Hope you enjoy using yours as much as I am mine!
