Q: In the picture, the lettuce keeper appears to be clear, but the description says it is brown. Is it available in both colors?

It is clear, I have had a head of lettuce in it for about two weeks, still looks fresh and green. Note, I have not taken it out of the original wrapper yet either, so how long it stays green after the first cutting is unknown.

Q: How high and wide is it? I have to put it in a drawer.

Sorry I'm late in responding, but we've been out of town. The lettuce keeper is approximately 10 inches high and 8.5 inches wide. I think it would be difficult to store it in most refrigerator drawers. But it is really good at keeping lettuce crisp and fresh - I like it better than the Tupperware lettuce keeper I had. Hope this is helpful

Q: Can I store halved cabbage in this container?

The lid does not seal at all not a good item to get. I have to use 2 rubber bands to keep lid even on.

Q: How/Could would you use this bowl with romaine lettuce?

It is basically a large plastic bowl with a dome. Iceberg fits perfectly on a plastic insert which may be removed, so you could put your romaine lettuce in there.
