I really like this lip liner. It goes on smoothly without tugging and has a creamy texture that makes it easy to apply. The color payoff is great, and it pairs well with different lip products or even on its own. The plumping effect is subtle yet noticeable, giving lips a slightly fuller look without discomfort. It also lasts a good while without smudging or feathering too much. The only thing to note is that it can wear down a bit if you’re eating or drinking, but that’s pretty normal. Overall, it’s a great quality lip liner that looks and feels good on.

This is my favorite lip liner and I don't see myself ever purchasing anything else unless something far superior comes out. It goes on smoothly and lasts through sips and meals. The Smooth Spice matches perfectly with the shades of lipstick and lip glosses that I use.

This color is a little misrepresented. The base color is more neutral than pink. Definitely long lasting though and the design of the tip is incredible for lining the lip.

I am a huge fan of Buxom's plumping lipstick, and Dolly is my go-to color (although Boss is right up there). I wanted to try Buxom's lip liner to see if it could add more longevity to the lipstick. Although the lip liner is a little pricier than I prefer, it's got a little something extra -- and I ordered a second (for my travel bag) days after receiving the first. The liner is a little thicker than a typical liner, and the tip is shaped like an elongated triangle -- similar to some eyebrow pencils I've used. The larger tip makes it easy to get precise lines around the cupid's peak in your lips -- and makes filling in the entire lips a quick task. The container holds a nice brush at the end opposite the liner. The brush seems a little extra / maybe too much for the liner / but it works great for applying lipstick. It's a nice touch, but I doubt I will use it much. I don't know that this has done all that much to increase the longevity of the lipstick, but it works as well, if not better, than any other lip liner I've used, and the color is perfect.

I usually love this product, however this particular one is defective I think. The lip liner keeps breaking off as if it’s in broken pieces inside the tube. So frustrating. It happened once and I was like ok that happens but ever since it’s just loose broken pieces in there and it’s too late to get a replacement. For how expensive this item is, it’s frustrating.

More brow/ nude than plum. Very dry and doesn’t plump at all. Probably fine on younger lips.

The colour is absolutely perfect and pairs beautifully with the matching Dolly lip gloss. Unfortunately, the liner fades quite quickly, especially when worn together with the gloss. I’m also not a fan of the triangular tip, as I find it less precise than a traditional pencil. I love Buxom’s lip glosses, but I wouldn’t repurchase the lip liner.
