Q: Does the handle float?

Yes it does. The aluminium core handle is lightweight and packed with foam to aid in flotation and is finished with an EVA foam grip.

Q: Does it tangle due to it being a multi section?

No more than a normal 1-section rope would. It is great to have the option to reduce the length for different types of water sports and skill level.
