Bought as a birthday present for my daughter, she’s just played a couple of levels of Crash Bandicoot & she’s over the moon with this, really good graphics & nice big screen to play on

I work a lot ,so when I get some time to chill I really enjoy a gaming session, I play ps5 usually, but I sometimes find the games a little stressful (call of duty etc) so i really wanted to get back my roots of N64 ( which I still have) and play some more relaxed oldschool Nintendo games like Mario etc... so I got the switch ,finally, having never even played one... But it's Nintendo, so you know it's going to be great... And Im happy to report, it's amazing! So well designed. So much fun, I've only played a couple of games so far , Donkey Kong frozen island and Luigi's mansion 3... I'm loving it, really good games, I can happily play for a few hours before bed and still be relaxed enough to get a good night's sleep.... Perfect... Great for younger kids and older kids and old man gamers like me! Love Nintendo ! Highly recommend for anyone who loves to game!

Nintendo has the best gaming experiences at the moment. I’m always late jumping on hype trains but there is something special about Nintendo Switches that simply isn’t at all present in the other companies. Nintendo sent me an email to wish me a happy birthday the other week and it is a nice touch to lighten someone’s day like that. I recommend buying a switch for each member of the family and playing animal crossing together. Very very fun game. You can decorate and plan your little village which you can shape into a town. You can decorate your house which is very fun. You actually learn stuff about insects and fish and other things too while playing this game. I only hope there won’t be an animal crossing 2 for the switch 2 because then I’d have to save up nearly 2000 pounds just to buy a switch 2 for everyone :)

I took a dive being unsure how useful a switch would be to me given I already play on ps5 and there's only so many times I thought I'd want to play games on the go. But being able to play bioshock for example on the go on a beautiful OLED screen really got my attention properly invested into the series again. The modular design to play how you want and with friends on the go really is so convenient as well. Ok it's underpowered and aging hardware but it's still impressive to me that essentially just a small tablet device can play games like bioshock and Alien isolation etc. I think there will always be a passion for fixed space dedicated hardware and PC gaming to push the boundaries on graphics but in terms of how mobile chipsets are becoming much more relevant for running more modern game engines now I think there will be a big crossover in future for people who want to play the latest games but aren't fussed about needing fixed hardware to support the latest graphics features etc. I hope nintendo's next console follows a similar vision. There is a negative with the screen however hence 4 stars. IT SCRATCHES REALLY EASILY! There is a plastic coating on the screen which is basically not removable that is there to protect the glass underneath from shattering. It's a nice feature but I think because of this plastic film it means the plastic film itself scratches really easily. So don't make the mistake I made and make sure you put your own screen protector on it. It's not like a top end smartphone screen that's really hard to scratch.

Very enjoyable

The Nintendo Switch is just AMAZING 🤩 I have had it for an entire month and a bit now and there have been no issues at all. It’s honestly the best thing I have tied with my PC and Xbox and PS. But its even better as its easy to carry around especially in a special case and also can be used anywhere. In the Car, on the Plane… anywhere! Ive played it soo much that I can say 100% its worth buying. Will be buying more accessories and games for it in the future and has changed my family’s opinion on it as we all love playing it! My sister is now heavily considering getting one too now 😂
