I bought these positaps to install aftermarket headlights on my car. I'm not experienced with automotive wiring, I just know the basics such as Ohm's Law. This was a job I dreaded having to do, and put it off for as long as I could because I was worried about needing to buy a soldering station and learning how to use it without burning my car or garage down. This was until I discovered the existence of these Posi-taps. It was easy to figure out how to use them, and many videos exist on YouTube explaining how for anyone in doubt. The end result was perfect. The connection was solid, and so far they have been holding up with my aggressive driving habits and even held up in wet driving conditions. No flickering, no fluctuations in brightness. Overall, I think this little device is ingenious, miles better than alternatives such as T-taps, and they save you tons of money by allowing you to perform a solderless T-splice yourself without the need to cut the factory harness, meaning this installation is completely reversible with posi-taps. For anyone dealing with automotive wiring, Posi-taps are a solid choice for DIYers. Just make sure you buy the right size and style.

These wire tap connectors are awesome. They make for a very clean and professional looking installation. They are also easy to use in tight spaces.

works great I love these things now never heard of these til now. simple and secure maybe if used where its visible I can see where it won't look great if you want a clean look

What can you say about Posi-Tap. They're excellent and I’ve never had one fail.

Used to tap into the reverse bulb wire for a dash cam. Easy to setup and doesn’t have no problems with the connection.

These Posi-Taps are awesome, though somewhat expensive. They really shouldn't cost so much, but they do the job quite nicely. I used them on motorcycle wiring to tap in some additional lighting. Perfect!

Worked exactly as advertised. Double check the gauge wire you're using. Had to return a set as I didnt take the time initally to see what wire was used originally in my car. Once I had the right size there were no problems

These are a great way to tap a wire with minimal damage to the original wire plus the are compact and can be used in a tight wiring bundle.

Nice connector, great or in tight spots would give them 5 stars but they are a bit expensive.
