I was a bit apprehensive to replace the keyboard in my Acer Aspire 3 (A315-21-9KF) because there are all of these little plastic rivets that you have to cut off in order to get the old keyboard out. Well, I ordered this thinking that someday I would do it. I got up the initiative to do it, and I am glad I did. Once I got the old keyboard out, this one fit perfectly in its place. Putting the laptop back together was enough to hold it in place without all the plastic rivets. The keyboard works like a charm, all the keys do what they are supposed to do. Again, it's a little bit of a chore to replace, but the end results are great! Highly recommend.

I bought this to replace my Acer A315-53-50Y7 keyboard since the original one died. It worked perfectly. The only con is that it makes so much noise when typing but I know it is more related to the laptop itself since it doesn't have any screw to hold the keyboard still (the original one was attached to the laptop case by some plastic holders that I had to remove to detach it)

It was alright at first, but after a few weeks after it was installed one of the keys on the keyboard stopped functioning. The letter L key when you press on it no longer functions. All the other keys still function but it isn't great to not have one of the keys functioning of course. So I have to use a usb keyboard now instead.
