I must've gotten lucky - but tighten those bolts! EDIT: missing hardware EZ and cheap to replace
EDIT 1/14/2013: if you get one that's missing bolt(s), nut(s) or washer(s), take one of each of those (assuming you got at least one of each!) to your local big box home store and go to the hardware section. You will almost certainly find exact matches to replace your missing items for just pennies. Yes this is aggravating and just not right (hey, life is unfair, deal with it) but trivial in comparison to returning the item. Original review follows: I think your success with this depends on what shape it's in when you get it. Mine came in a pretty intact box containing an inner box with the four casters - you have to put them on yourself using four bolts and four lockwashers on each caster. In my case, 15 of the bolts and 15 of the lockwashers were partially screwed into the underside of the deck, giving you a small hint that you have to take them out and then use them to install the casters (there are no written instructions). The 16th bolt and 16th lockwasher had fallen out of the deck during transit and were fortunately rattling around in the box. If there had been any holes in the box, they would have surely fallen out during transit as would any other bolt/lockwasher pairs that had come away from the deck. Anyway, it looked like I had everything so I installed the casters (with the pivoting ones beneath the handle) and tightened the bolts painfully tight (I thought I was about to strip a couple of them) with a giant adjustable wrench since several reviewers said they tend to fall out. The bolts that came with mine seemed plenty long for the job and screwed well into the deck. Then I stood on it (I weight a little under 200#) and bounced up and down for a while - no give, no groaning, very sturdy. I dragged it around for a while with a small load on it and it continued to feel very sturdy and solid. Maybe the casters will fall off in use but I really, really tightened those bolts and I will be very surprised if they do. The deck is a little smaller than others of this type that I've seen but for my application the size is great. Someone mentioned having trouble with the handle - just step on the spring-loaded bar and it will fold down or lock back in the up position. So I'd say five stars *if* you get one with all the parts intact *and* tighten the heck out of those bolts. Given the experience of other reviewers, you should probably be extra paranoid if yours comes in a box full of holes and/or is missing parts. But at this price if you receive what I think the maker intended, this is a good deal. Some similar items are crazy expensive.

extremely useful for an apartment move
great cart, used it extensively for my move into the apartment. Large enough to hold several heavy boxes, easy to maneuver, folds up nicely. One design flaw that I am still fighting has to do with the assembly of the cart. Several of the screw holes did not align with the nuts inside of the unit. as a result, I have had to omit 5 screws that hold the wheels onto the main body. It's not enough of a flaw for me to return it but just be aware that you might have the same issue. since the cart sits on the wheels, it doesn't affect the operation of the cart.

Nice Cart - Packaging is weak - Color may not be correct - 1st one damaged
The cart is a nice size. The wheels come separate and require a 14mm socket wrench to install. The alignment of the bolts to the holes required a fair amount of careful adjusting. I was afraid they would strip if I forced them without proper pre-alignment. Eventually, they installed firmly and correctly. Note: The package is flimsy at best. The first cart was returned by Amazon prior to delivery and I was notified that the package was damaged and was being returned to the seller. Amazon issued an automatic refund. I reordered, and the 2nd one arrived, however the box was damaged as well. The cart however appears to be fine. Another note - it was advertised as the color "Blue" with "Olive" bumper trim. The cart I received was all black. I actually am fine with that, but it is worth noting that you many not receive the color you expected to receive. The operation of the cart is good otherwise. The platform piece is a thinner metal material which has some give, however, I believe it will hold up fine. I have used similar carts at my office where the platform is more sturdy.

Best Mistake Purchase Ive EVER made!
I was looking for exactly an item like this for work only not so big and heavy when carried around folded to help me make deliveries. I was ¨guessing" when I chose this, and realized it would not be right for work. HOWEVER it has changed my life at home. I need/ needed to move large amounts or heavy bulky items, and this makes it so easy. I am so grateful I ordered this. Iḿ older and not in great shape and not super strong. Whatever I cant carry or barely move is now handled easily. It was easy to put on the wheels and itś easy to move around, I can lift / shift it over the front door threshold with a bit of effort. And it folds up and sits out of the way till I need it again. It replaced the old hand truck from 20 years ago that when horizontal is the size of a stand up hand truck, but the tires can't take the weight, and itś just not the same, and not as easy and effortless, but I was glad 20 years ago for it. THIS IS MUCH BETTER.

Great cart, tough
Really tough and we'll made. Good size and holds a lot of weight and is easy to move and maneuver. Folds nice and flat.

Good for infrequent use and lighter loads
It is cheaply made in China. It smells weird and comes filthy, covered in rust-colored dust, and the construction is pressed pieces of thin sheet metal (it's hollow). It cannot move/roll when carrying loads over half the listed amount, but works okay for lighter loads. The handle bar is flimsy and could break with extended use pushing heavier loads. Overall it is an OK cheap solution for small jobs in a pinch. I definitely recommend investing in a better trolley for heavier loads or more regular use.

A useful tool, but could be better made.
So, ok. A platform truck. When it arrived, the platform was slightly warped. Not a serious issue once you place a heavy box on it, then all four wheels touch ground. The casters had to be attached (stated upfront by seller / factory), and there is a video showing how to do this. The annoying bit was trying to use the tools recommended by the factory. Don't waste time with adjustable wrenches, or vice grips. They can't get between the bolt heads, and the caster wheel supports, and it'll take an hour to do that way. If you're not sure of what socket head will work, take one bolt to the hardware store, and find one that fits it. You'll be much better off, and have the job done much faster, and safer. One caster's solid rubber/plastic wheel had a nasty ding it from where the wheel had obviously been dropped, or bumped into something hard just after coming out of the injection mold while still hot. I'll likely have to replace that caster. Also, all of the others were poorly molded. You have to scrape off the injection molding stem buds, and sand the wheels down a bit, otherwise you'll have annoying bumping going on as you move the platform truck. The factory "COULD, and SHOULD" have provided casters with brakes to prevent disasters from run-away loads. I'm seriously considering just pulling the factory casters, and installing ones with brakes if the screw hole configurations match the platform truck. There is a hefty rubber bumper that goes around the outer edge of the deck to help prevent scratching walls, ect. Although I'd love to find a platform truck longer than this for a reasonable price, there is something to be said for this size of platform truck. It's just right for getting around in small corridors, tight corners. I tested the truck out in my studio, which is actually a small house with some tight corners, and places where anything too much larger would not work well. I was able to fill up two of my thirty-ish gallon plastic trunks with gear, and stack them on the platform truck with no problems, as long as the terrain is relatively flat, or mildly inclined. I'd highly recommend straps for stacked loads on ramps. There is a vinyl surface on the deck, but if you're moving loads that are wider than the deck, then the surface won't be of much help. I'd recommend getting some adhesive backed vinyl, and putting some on the raised rim that goes around the existing vinyl surface to stop larger loads shifting. You might be able to find straps that have the ability to grip the platform's edges securely. Just don't try to attach straps to the bumper, as that might not hold well. I wish the factory had placed attachment points for straps to help secure large loads when negotiating inclined slopes, and ramps. I like the fold down handle, but once down, it would have been nice if the handle locked in place, as it does when extended. The truck is a bit heavy, but then it's made to support heavy loads. No getting round that. Still, it'll come in handy for my lighting gigs in terms of getting heavy boxes of gear between vehicles, venue, and studio, ect. Not particularly thrilled about the colour, which has a decidedly military look about it (olive drab green). But it's a utility tool, so who cares, really. LOL. It's easy to operate the handle, just step down on the release bar, and pull the handle up. Same for retracting the handle. Finally, I think the most annoying aspect of this product is having to pay to finish other people's work. I know partly assembled products save space in shipping, but wow! Is that bloody annoying, or what? LOL
