No frills, but works wonderfully. After paying $124 to replace my charging port dock connector on my S-22, this helps reduce the times I insert my charger cable... I like the stand up functionality as well. My 45w wall charger allows this to fast charge my phone. If I need super fast I connect straight to the wall charger. My wife is using the other on her nightstand

May 26, 2021 was my original purchase date. I'm writing this on Apr 19, 2022. So the charger worked great up until about 2-3 months ago. My wife has an iPhone 11 pro (?), whatever iPhone pro came out last year lol, and I've got the Samsung s21 Ultra. Both our phones have cases with kickstands and they worked fine from day of purchase until 2-3 months ago. Our issue now, she has to turn her phone sideways for it to charge whereas before she didnt have to, and for mine I have to keep readjusting it left and right to get it just perfect for it to charge. There's been times where I set it down before bed and wake up to it either being dead due to not charging or extremely low battery life. It's annoying and no we don't want to remove our cases for it to charge, it should be able to charge as it did from day 1 to now. Would you want to remove your case every time before bed to charge your phone? Or do you just want to set it down and let it charge like it should? We both have cases with a kickstand, no metallic backing or whatever. Plastic and rubber. It's not that thick like an Otterbox. Feels pretty standard. I've purchased a different styled wireless charger for my wife for her apple watch and iPhone, which works flawlessly with the same case. I'm still shopping for a different one. In the meantime I've reverted back to just plugging my phone in to charge. For the 8 months we've used it, worked wonderfully. Now they're both a paperweight. Might just go toss it into my recycle bin when I get home. Longevity wasn't that great. This was my experience, hope it helps whoever it may be.
