Such a fun book! Super cute images and great story and overall themes!

The text of this book is fun and child-friendly, with a rhythm and message that my toddlers enjoy. It does a great job showing a variety of emotions and feelings as normal and part of a regular day, and of course there's the natural appeal if you like the original song. The illustrations are a true highlight of this book, though — the mixed media is great, and I love the representation of the child's parents, who seem like interesting people in their own right. The quality of the book I received from Amazon is more like 3 stars, with wear around the edges, a noticeable gouge and scratch on the cover, and some minor warping of the pages so it doesn't lay completely flat. Not a big deal in my household since my kids are hard on books, but I wouldn't be willing to give this as a gift, and it reminds me why it's usually worth the extra 75 cents to buy board books from our local bookstore or directly from the publisher.

We started reading this when my son was a small baby and he would ask to read it over and over again. He is 27 months now and it is still our go-to. It has such a great message and the related song does, as well.

Inspiring

Cute story book, I like that it’s Bob Marley inspired. Delivered on time, only thing is I am giving it as a baby shower gift and the cover of the book is very scratched.

I already knew this book from the song/reading of it that can be found online, so you can check it out before purchasing. Lyrics and melody are a bit difficult for my toddler niece but I gave it as a gift along with the One Love book, which is easier for her, and it makes a great pair!
