My wife shortened it up for me and it's a great mid level gi.

I'm M/6ft/187lbs with regular dad-body! This Gi fit me very well - and is very soft, comfortable, airy & well fitting! The cloth is 100% cotton and shrinked alot after 1st wash. Fits well after 1st was as well. The accompanying white belt if pretty hefty, wide, sturdy built too. I first ordered size 6, but that looked like 2 sizes bigger for me. Hence got size 5. Overall, I loved this Gi!

I bought a size too large based on the many reviews that warned about shrinkage. Perhaps the manufacturer has shifted to preshrunk cotton--in my case (August 2023) the gi did not shrink at all. I ended up washing it 3 times in hot water and using "hot" when drying in a vain attempt to make the fabric shrink. No luck. So the pants have had to be hemmed by about 5-inches to be usable. Great gi otherwise. But sizing is problematic, and the description of the gi should be exact about what to expect.

My son loves the fit of his new Gi. He is 6ft. About 160lbs. Tall and thin. It fits him very good.

I found the arms and legs too long and the jacket too short. I like to think of myself as average proportions 5 foot 10 and 14 stone. The material is thin not like an old school gi but it’s comfortable. I think it’s expensive compared to other gi types. I’ve trained for 50 years so have had a good few in my time.
