Is twisted stronger than beaded?

Twisted does seem to be a little stronger than braided. #36 twisted has a 348 lb test; #36 braided has a 320 lb test.

Any melting issues with hot climates? Does the tar get everywhere?

I am from St. Louis, I have Melted it with a Lighter, Other than that, In Direct Sun on a really hot Day in my Car, It makes a Smell, But didn't Fuse Together From the Sun. I Also Didn't leave it in there to Bake all day. So, If possible I would avoid Placing it in an Oven at 350 Degrees. lol

Paracord is a kernmantle cord, which means that there are core strands (the kern) inside a braided sheath (the mantle). This bank line is braided through and through, so it does not have separate filler strands like paracord does. It is not a hollow braid, either (like kevlar paracord, for instance). Hope that helps!
