ABS Army Surplus Military Airsoft Tactical Helmet

It gets 4 stars mainly for the price. For this price it's a good deal, but it depends on what you plan on using it for. I got it for my sons costume for Halloween, and for that it is fantastic. However I would think if you were using it for paintball or airsoft you might want to make some adjustments. It uses rivets instead of actual hardware, and cheap webbing so i doubt it will hold up under rugged conditions. The chin strap itself is horrible. Expect to wobble everywhere. Then again the actual old PASGT chin straps were not very good. It would drive up the price a bit, but a surplus 4 point retention strap would make it far more comfy and a better less wobbly fit. Also if you really wanted to make it nice you could replace the webbing with pads....you'll have to drill out the rivets and use your own hardware though. Still for 15 bucks this is a great lil ABS knockoff. (EDIT: I purchased an actual USMC 4 point made for the LWH system, I had to drill four holes and the thinner helmet then a real one means you may need some spacers but this works much better, and my son can run with it stable even with webbing and no pads. If you are an airsofter I strongly would suggest getting a 4 point retention system, though it will cost twice as much as helmet. The different hardware stands out, but with a camo cover you won't see the different hardware. This works so well I am giving it 5 stars because again the price and durability of helmet itself is incredible.

My son used this for his Halloween costume. It was very realistic and fit perfectly. It was very comfortable and was highly durable, he tested it to see if it would break on airsoft bullets and it worked and it never broke. The straps are also great and made the costume look amazing. 10/10.

I like the decent quality and low weight design. The straps are cheap but that's ok given the price.

A descent hard plastic helmet that you would maybe use in a Paintball recreation scenario. Not a military grade helmet like I wore in overseas conflicts. Good quality for what it is though.

They are what you would expect for the price. Just an ok plastic helmet to look the part and keep airsoft BBs off your head. I ordered two OD greens at the same time, and i got one woodland camo,and one OD green. And they didn't ship quick (at all) so I couldn't send it back. Straps are weak but adjustable,though they won't stay adjusted. These do a great job of looking the part when playing mil-sim and making a loud plastic knock when you get headshotted. Worth the money,and they haven't cracked or broken yet, but they are toy grade chinese plastic helmets.

We purchased this helmet for a museum mannequin. I've seen better quality but for the price it done the job.

This review won't be particularly useful because I didn't buy this helmet for serious use - only for a Halloween costume for my son. It is ROCK solid - not costume grade at all. He loves it. I also bought a desert camo cover for it. Very adjustable to his 12 year old head or mine. Great purchase - thanks! We are ready for Halloween, and the zombie apocalypse.

Son loved it for Christmas. He is a 10 yr old military but. A bit big for his head but he will grow into it. Durable and well made.

For the price you could not ask for a better helmet. It uses rivets to hold the straps on with a washer on the inside. It has adjust straps for head adjustment as well . A very good constructed helmet. Its one of those buys you won't be sorry you made.
