makes alignment easy even on rotors that aren't perfectly true
Something like this isn't needed, but it's nice to have! Usually, all you need to do is loosen your caliper bolts, squeeze the brakes, tighten the bolts, and release the brakes, and you are good to go (for most cases), but this can get tricky if you have a slight wobble in your rotor; this little spacer gives you that extra play to make alignment quicker in this case, it works great. I use them all the time now; it's worth the money.

Makes rotor / caliper alignment so much easier
I was having trouble aligning my rotor in Shimano GRX 400 calipers as the space between pads is quite narrow. Using this tool, I got it setup perfectly on the 2nd try. If you're struggling to get your caliper aligned to your rotors, this six dollar tool is well worth every penny.

Well made, they are super easy to use and do a great job of assisting with perfect brake spacing. Cost half what some other brands do and work just as well.

A great tool to center your pads
I really like these as I had a bike where the rear brakes was a bear to get the pads centered. I used these and it centered the pads the best they had ever been in the two years that I owned the bike. For the price, I would highly recommend.

Makes changing bicycle brake pads easy.
The shims make aligning your brake caliper an easy task. Even clearance of pads on both sides of the disc. No rubbing so long as your disc is straight. Good product.

Hours of attempts, one easy fix.
This brake caliper shim is awesome. I just spent the last few days trying to tune out the last little squeaks and drag from the brakes on a new bike and nothing worked. It took one time of popping this on the rotor, squeezing the brake lever, and tightening the bolts and the brakes are noise free for the first time. NOTE: I did have to use a pad spreader to get enough clearance for the shim when I reinstalled the caliper. It would be a good idea to pick up a pad spreader like park tool ps1 or pp 1.2 which is the one that I used.
