GM-A5702 1000W Max Class AB Bridgeable 2-Channel Car Amplifier

This amp delivers! I’m driving one enclosed 4 ohm 8-inch bass speaker and a 2” soft-dome tweeter per each channel capable of handling 175 watts each. This amp delivers 160 watts per channel so it can’t blow my speakers. With the gain set slightly above normal, it has the ability to “rattle” the windows. I love loud rock music and this match delivers for me. I’m an old time rocker from the late 60s-early 70s. Gives me that concert sound, next best thing to being there. That said, it does get pretty hot even though my power and ground wiring is 8 gauge pure copper stranded and I mounted it so it has air flow all around and under and over it. I’ll monitor it and see how it holds up. No problems so far and it hasn’t shut off in protection mode.

Had this paired with a Pioneer 10 inch subwoofer. The combination was great and the amplifier did its thing. The 10 was hitting some lows and mids. That’s when i realized this amplifier is really meant for mids and highs though. I should have done more research on this amp. It produces frequencies of 40hz+. I would still recommend this amp for setups where this is needed and rate it 5/5.

Initial testing was impressive. Unlike most audio advertisements, this one is accurate! It's actually far more sound volume than I'll ever need or use. Knowing that audio specifications are usually blatant lies, I bought the cheapest head unit I could find, with the features I wanted. I ignored the output power ratings. It actually sounds decent but all the credit goes to this amp. Installation will be quick & simple. I'm using the factory speakers in my old Ford F-350 4x4 truck. I plan on buying another for my desk. Driven by my computer and connected to some Klipsch bookshelf speakers. I know, a bit overkill but like I said, everyone else can't be honest with specifications so at least this way I know what I'm buying.

It pump my two 8" woofer with thunder ⛈️ bass.

You could always trust a brand that has been around for years, the sound is clear , not a small D amplifier that doesn’t get hot in 20 minutes, work well , not a 1000 watts , but a great buy

Great value, tons of power!

Amp gets very hot but hasn't shut off yet even after a few hours of loud volume usage. Powers 2 Kicker Comp S 8 inch subs very well. Could power 10s or 12s as well. My kicker 8s are high end and can handle 200w RMS. Wish the switches and knobs were stuck out so you could twist by hand to adjust gain and frequency as well as bass boost and lpf switch. Need a flathead screwdriver to make those adjustments but that's a minor inconvenience.

This item is not designed for 6x9 speakers overheating and shutting down within 15 minutes.trash product

Very good product, pioneer is still a very reliable and amazing amplifier maker. I only wish the amp came with a remote gain switch and installation hardware , you know the gold plated stuff. Price was very affordable. I also bought the 520 watt 4 channel amp and they work great as a team. I just wish pioneer would sponsor me or send me samples to tty and rate.

I plugged it properly..i checked it with a multimeter and its supposed to work but no...the fuse r good..all is good but the amp just dont work...it worked like 2minutes thats it
