Its not a regular ball pen and you will surely be disappointed if you buy it expecting the performance of a regular pen. About me - I invest in stationery and buy unique products. I like the experience of getting new (& less known) pens and trying them out. About Uniball - Uniball is the world leader is pens and you may have used pens by this company. If not, please buy them and try - they are a delight to write with. About this pen - its a niche product with very fine tip (0.28 mm). Therefore the USP of this pen is its fine writing. And that's what you should buy it for. The weight is well distributed, the bottom being heavier that the top. And its very comfortable to hold. Pros Writers very smooth, like butter. The fine tip is a delight for those looking for a unique writing experience. Uniball quality shines through - as I said, they are world leaders in pens Cons The pen writes best at a particular angle; so you have to adjust accordingly. Like many ball pens, it takes a day or two to catch up and become smooth. Before that, you require patience. After that, its a joy to write! Since its a niche product, refill availability will be a problem. I plan to buy some from Amazon and stock up. Price is high - but its a niche product, not your regular 10-rupaye-wala-ball-pen-available-at-nukkad-shop. So if you know what you are getting into, buy it, give it a few days and enjoy the ride! Imagine the pen being an orchid - requires care and watering and will wither away in harsh conditions; but when it blooms, its a joy to watch! There are many factors which this pen requires. Many people have the audacity to write horrible things about a pen which is strictly for fine pen writers. And this pen requires you to have an active interest in fine pens or else you just won’t find it as appealing to hear as when you actually buy it. Now for the factors: 1) This pen strictly requires an angle to write perfectly, any other angle will make the ink come in an uneven amount. 2) The ink is slow to finish but it requires 1,700 to buy a new ink so only use this pen on special occasions. 3) This pen is sensitive, if you exert too much pressure, it will bend/break. So be gentle. 4) If the pen doesn’t work on the first try, don’t give up, it just means the ink is dry or your angle is incorrect. That’s all thanks for looking at my review

Great product for a finest writing experience. UNI is always the best.

I have been using this pen for a year now and will say that it is surely a good buy the JETSTREAM is the best damn oil-based ball point line by Uni. I see a lot of reviews saying the pen is not good but the truth is these are amateur buyers and new to this echelon. This pen is good if you want to use 0.28 mm refill but it is quite scrathy and can't be used for Everyday use or making notes. It is strictly for professional use. If you wish to buy it and are not comfortable w/ the nib buy the 0.7mm or 0.5mm SRX-80 refills.

Appears to be a 10 Rs pen sent in a bubble wrap No box , or ways to check authenticity . When checked since it was not writing anything The refill is used and defective . !!!!! Don’t buy from this seller

Overall look and feel is not so great. Ink shade is also very light.

The refill or cartridge has dried. It's not working. The refill is not available in the market. Such an expensive pen but useless. Frustrating. Subhankar

The Uni Jetstream EDGE 0.28mm is an amazing pen. The thinnest smoothest oil-based ballpoint pen I've come across. Rich dark black line which is also super thin. The refill is thin but lasts long enough. The aluminium front section gives it a nice balance even though it's still a fairly light pen made mostly of plastic. The click has a nice quality feeling.

Achtung! Dies ist kein Stift für Schnellschreiber. Durch die ultradünne Spitze kann es passieren, dass der Tintenfluss abbricht, das Schreiben kratzig wirkt und man dadurch unzufrieden mit dem Ergebnis wird. Auch erfordert der Stift eine gewisse Übung in der Handhabung. Für mich ist dieser Stift genau richtig, für andere vielleicht nicht

This is not for everyone but if you appreciate hair thin lines then you will freaking love this pen. I received it and have barely let it out of my sight since. I love love love the super fine line of the .28. I tend to write with my pen in a more upright position — more like a sumi brush than a ballpoint — so for me this pen works very well. If you tend to hold your pens at a more acute angle to the page you may find it a bit skippy. 100% would buy again — new fav pen for sure.

Like all Uni products, the quality, look and feel are excellent. In my case I keep a journal daily using the 'Eisenhower' layout with a few boxes added showing my daily sales numbers vs. goal. Using a small paper thin ruler that fits the journal's pocket, the edge was not friendly to various gel pens I tried using. The Fisher Astronaut pen holds up well in this regard, but designed more for writing and doing continuous lines, leaves some annoying artifacts. The Jetstream .28mm is really superior - I can use the side of the point right against the ruler edge with no worries of damage to the pen, as I do my Rotring 600 mechanical pencil. The oil ink has a perfect flow. Not forgiving if I make my own error, but as long as I do my part, the reward is bold but spiderweb-thin lines with no streaks, clots or any other sloppiness. Completely worth the price without going into professional grade drafting instruments!
