Will this handle the aftermath of 2 Chipotle bowls?

I'm sure it is safe for the septic. Lysol has been around a long time and I think they are very honest, but as far as aquatic life and where the water ends up, how could it be with those chemicals. I'm sure the chemicals won't hurt the toilet in any way or the septic tank. It is a catch 22 in many ways, you use natural products and they don't clean properly and if you use products that clean, there is a chance for it to get into lakes etc.... I'm not really sure how much of this product goes into surrounding water. I would like to think that our Public Utilities could address those issues if they allow the use of such products ?

Does this clip onto toilet bowl?

No. You peel back the cover and push down and it sticks to the inside on your toilet bowl. You can choose the spot. It is the most easiest thing I've ever used!

Is it up to 4 weeks (as it says in the images on the page) or up to 8 weeks (as you say in the description)? Which is it?

It's still hanging on after over 4 weeks, I noticed some people saying their's were gone after 2 weeks. It is about 1/2 the size it was when I placed it on. It really hasn't done anything at all. It has no smell and doesn't keep the bowl clean. Don't waste your money is all that needs to be said about this product. The first one I had my husband scrubbed it off thinking it was something that shouldn't be there.
