This train is one of my toddler’s favorite LEGO sets, but honestly, what I most want to highlight here is not only this specific model, but why I keep choosing LEGO DUPLO over cheaper alternatives. When it comes to toys for toddlers, it is not enough for me that pieces simply fit together or look cute. What I care most about is manufacturing consistency, real safety, and durability. In the United States, toys sold legally must comply with safety requirements... Even so, there are still meaningful differences between brands in quality control, tolerances, materials, and production consistency. That is where LEGO DUPLO stands out to me. LEGO provides relatively clear information about materials and safety, explains that its products are tested to comply with and often exceed the strictest global requirements, and in its materials information states that the classic LEGO brick primarily uses ABS. DUPLO specifically also emphasizes rigorous safety assessments and full manufacturing control. In practical terms, that gives me more confidence in things like how consistently the pieces fit together, how well they hold up over time, and the overall traceability of the product. With cheaper brands, I often cannot find the same level of clarity around basic details that matter to me, such as materials, compliance information, or traceability. I am not saying every other brand is bad, but when my priority is a very young child, I would rather pay more for a brand that gives me greater confidence in those areas. As for the train itself, I think it is an excellent set: engaging, visually appealing, easy for little hands to handle, and useful for much more than just learning numbers. But the reason I would buy it again is not only because it is cute or because my child loves it. It is because it belongs to a building system that, to me, remains one of the best options when the priority is real safety, durability, and consistency.

This is great for toddlers! One of my kiddos that is autistic, absolutely LOVES this set! It is super easy to assemble, it’s a great size (especially for those that still put toys in their mouth), and it’s a good quality!

This Lego Duplo My First Number Train is a hit in our house! My toddler absolutely loves it. The pieces are the perfect size for little hands, and the colors are bright and engaging. It’s not only fun to play with but also a great way for my little one to learn numbers and counting. The train can be built in different ways, which keeps things interesting for longer play sessions. I paid for this item in brand-new condition, but it came opened and played with. It was so clearly played with that the pieces are even dirty. I do not appreciate paying full price for used toys. Outside of that, I think these are great for 1-4 years old. We've been using Mega Blocks, but my toddlers now like to build structures, so the next step would be Duplo blocks. All the pieces are here, nothing is super messed up; this will be great for Christmas.

A mi hijo le encanta los carros, pero sinceramente estão demasiado caros los de esta serie, compre este tren y ahora tenemos varios carros jejejeje, combinamos otros que teníamos y ahora hay varias opciones. Recomiendo a los que les gusta los trenes y a los que quiere hacer carros y no gastar mucho dinero
