As advertised, only the size of the bar is a USP for this soap - and that too is impractically big The smell is not noticeable. The lather is reasonable - overall just a Big Bar of soap - nothing else

To show my impartiality: I am in the habit of buying gender neutral toiletries. There are two reasons for my blandness in the hygiene department. One is that I prefer practical and proven methods over what's popular and showy: I drink my liquor neat, squat ass to grass without the bar cushion, and shave with regular soap. The second reason is that simpler is often better, and in this case I am referring to the ingredients. There are many hormone disruptors in hygiene products and soap is no different, especially men's and women's products. Therefore I hesitate to buy gender specific soaps. Why I liked it: Smell- The aroma is rustic and brings you back down to earth. In the morning it wakes you up and zaps you out of the dream state by reminding you of the pleasures of life, and at night it dampens the sharp mental frequencies that a long day breeds by soothing the mind and preparing you for the primitive yet surreal world of sleep. Quality- It is made of top quality material. It suds well, lasts a long time, doesn't dry the skin too much, and doesn't "melt" or stick to the bathroom surface so long as it lays on a grill or a dry surface. ANY bar that is wet and in direct contact with a significantly large area will "melt" and stick to that surface. So if you want to maintain the integrity of the bar, place it on a dry surface or on a grilled surface. Size- It's not that big. It's the size of 2.5 regular soap bars. It's an ideal size for a generic shower hanger. Price- It's pricier than most bars out there but it's also superior. Hey, you get what you pay for.

Love the scent of the different soaps offered by the company. My go to is the Sandalwood and Cedar both are great. Big bars that last a long time. Would recommend.

Bought duke cannon instead of Dr squatch this month its double the size so lasts over a month love the smell only difference to Dr squatch is duke cannon leaves the skin a dryer and not as moisturising as Dr squatch but definitely worth a try for value of money

Okay, you saw $10.00 a bar for Leather and Leaf and thought “are they nuts, I’d NEVER, in this life or any other pay that for a bar of soap!” And that’s exactly what I thought until I read all the reviews and thought, okay, I’ve wasted $30 on sillier things, I’ll give it a shot. Have to admit this was one time I was NOT disappointed with the product. Normally, when a soap company advertises that their product lathers well it also corresponds to the bar of soap deteriorating quickly and a $10 bar of soap disappears down the drain in no time flat. Not the case with Duke Cannon. It lathers really well and one bar lasts a little more than a month, and that’s showering twice a day! Oh, did I mention the size of the bar? They are HUGE! In fact they are so big I had to order a bigger soap holder for the shower and it was still too small! The Leather and Leaf leaves a very pleasant after fragrance on your skin. In summary: Three bars for $30 lasting a little more than three months. More expensive than you might normally spend? Maybe, but for me it’s worth every penny.
