My wife took our Chihuahua (Chiquita) to the vet due to her having very loose stools and vomiting a few months ago and the vet sent her home with this (come to find out Chiquita has gastritis). Since then we use this product for both our dogs and we recommend it to our family for their dogs as well. It helps settle their stomach almost right away and helps harden their stools without constapating them... I would definitely recommend this product!

I bought this, at the recommendation of my vet, for my dog who had persistent diarrhea and wasn't responding to the clay-based tablet she prescribed. (And my dog hated the taste/texture.) The Pro-Pectalin, which is a paste, worked quite well and she liked it enough to lick it off my fingers.

Best thing apparently is the taste because my dog LOVES this peanut butter flavored stuff!!! And it helps control loose stools!! So easy to squeeze some out on her food as she will not chew or accept a pill!
