This Oma (grandma) likes to bring back reasonably priced jewelry for my daughters and granddaughters whenever I go abroad. I'm always reluctant to buy rings as presents as the size has to be exact. Because artisans in various countries, often use different systems, and sometimes their sizing is inaccurate, I now take the measuring rings in the sizes I need off the loop and carry them with me - when , for example, I walk along the beach in Mexico and run into a panhandler. Flexible ring measuring tapes don't work as well; especially, for seniors like myself whose knuckles are bigger than the base of their fingers. With these metal rings, you can make sure if you can get a ring over the knuckle. Now, I can even buy standard sized custom jewelry online. Your very small investment for this device will be worth every penny. Hope Your grandchildren like their rings!

These are great! For what you get, they are an excellent value. The fact that they include half sizes is very much appreciated. When you look at the numbers on the ring, the half sizes have a hyphen in front of the number. You can see this in my pictures.The rings come with a plastic measuring band so you can measure your finger without using the metal rings. This is easy to carry if you’re gonna measure someone’s finger away from home. The band is like a zip tie, but doesn’t stick when you thread it through. I measured my finger with the band and then I used the rings and they both showed the same size. Yay! They come in a sturdy plastic box for storage. I wish I had these a long time ago.
