Batiste Dry Shampoo Medium & Brunette 3.81 oz - Pack of 3

I love this dry shampoo! I'm not a fan of the use of butane, but it's far less than other types I've used. And it works better than the powder dry shampoo I've used. The brunette is better for darker hair. The dye washes out in a wash. And it leaves my hair feeling clean and and gives it volume. The smell is pleasant. My boyfriend really likes the smell and can't keep his hands out of my hair.

In my opinion, Batiste is the best dry shampoo out there, and the colored versions are great. They will definitely cover your part and any thinning areas in addition to making your hair look cleaner and more voluminous in between washes. I will say that even the colored ones do sometimes come out looking a little chalky and white; I usually just wet my fingers with a bit of water and tousle my hair there a little bit and that usually fixes things a bit. This also doesn't leave any color or residue on my pillow or anywhere I lean my head, unlike some other dry shampoos. I use it every day, and I go through a normal-sized bottle of it every three to four weeks. I cannot recommend highly enough.

This is good. Dry shampoo. It does an effective job of covering up oil and making the hair look fresh. Great for brunettes!

I like this product a lot. I think the color guide is off though. I have a medium brunette hair color but need the dark one for it to blend in the way I want. Overall a good product and will keep using.

I try to wash my hair every 3-4 days, and when I get on the last day my hair starts to get very oily at my roots. I am very picky when it comes to dry shampoo and Batiste is the only brand that I have found so far that works for me. Previously, I was using their original and floral scents. However, I found the scents to be over bearing and while they worked, they weren't great. I decided to give the brunette version a try after a friend recommended it, and I am so happy that I did! The smell is not nearly as strong and I find that this product works better in my hair since it is tinted, therefor it doesn't leave that white residue look. I have found that the best way to use it is the night before. I spray it all throughout my scalp and let it sit. After it is dry, I gently run my fingers through my hair and rub in the dry shampoo so that it absorbs the oil. By the next morning, my hair looks much more refreshed! I also find that it helps make my hair seem more full. I was concerned about it leaving a residue on my white pillow cases, but I haven't had any issues with that. I would definitely recommend!

I got this mainly because PG&E charges so much for hot water in California, less “long showers” I have to take the better. Now, using this dry shampoo, I probably only need one long shower a week as opposed to every other day. The scalp’s skin gets really irritated and dry causing dandruff if you shampoo too much. Damages your hair as well. I used to have greasy hair because at least my hair was soft and healthy, hair dressers always commented how soft my hair was (even when I bleached it from dark red/brunette to white blonde) because I didn’t shampoo more than once every four-five days. But I’m over the grease, lol… Now I use baking soda in the shower with my shampoo, helps clean off the grease. Basically just scrub, rinse, repeat to get it really clean once a week and use this dry shampoo every day. You can use corn starch as dry shampoo, just use a big fluffy powder brush (makeup brush) and apply it to your roots, rub it in like dry shampoo. But I’m a dark brunette at the roots and that process is better for blondes, but it works in a pinch for brunettes too, I’ve heard people mix it with coffee grounds to get a darker color. I’d rather just spray this on. This dry shampoo for brunettes does leave a brown residue on my sink after use, probably my walls too, but I don’t care. The benefits out way the cons in this case. Just wipe it down with a moist paper towel and walk out with gorgeous hair that looks clean and has extra volume. If you can’t deal then just go outside to spray, anything is better than shampooing every other day or every day and styling and the hot water cost and and and… I’m over all that, welcome to the future!

I guess women too with thinning hair. I noticed my hair was thinning on top recently. I could sort of see scalp through it, especially when wet. I tried this and blasted the area (I mean this stuff blasts out of the can with an aerosol force I've never seen). It looked kind of chalky at first, but then after a few pats and brushes it blended in with the rest of my hair, and no more seeing the scalp. And it lasts all day. Great stuff. They should market it to everyone, not just women. I'll be buying it again...don't care what the can says on it.

I’ll start by saying this is still a great regular dry shampoo...it’s just not any different than the regular non color formulas on hair. I have some greys coming in so I thought this would be the perfect fix since it advertised “helps disguise roots” & “no white residue”. Well I still see my grey roots. Also the white residue is so obvious that I don’t understand how they can advertise otherwise because it’s a complete lie. I have only tried the Tropical dry shampoo which is wonderful! Between this brunette crud & the tropical...I’ll stick with Tropical since they both do the same thing...I might as get the one that smells fabulous. This brunette just has a clean scent. So if you don’t want a big scent, you’ll like this. Like so many, I feel like I have tried every brand I can get my hands on for years. When I finally tried Batiste, I stopped & needed to try no more. This is my go to. I’m excited to try other scents. Batiste has been a lifesaver during this winter storm nightmare in Texas...especially with lack of electricity & now water!!! :(
