S-K-319PB Montgomery Bench, Desert Sand

I’m 6ft 290lbs and this bench does not make me nervous to sit on one bit. It looks great and seems to be really well built. The finish seems durable and I hope It lasts for years under our covered patio. Very pleased with purchase! Assembly took about 10 minutes tops.

Love this bench. Supports the weight of two average weight adults comfortably. No signs of deterioration thus far and it remains outside through many Florida rain showers. Was also easy to assemble for two women.

This is such a cute bench and is exactly what I was looking for next to my fire pit. But that's all the good I have to say. I am very handy (flip houses for fun). I was SO frustrated trying to put this thing together. The legs went on just fine, but the back was next to impossible. It is certainly not a one person job. You need somone to hold the back in place while the other person inserts the bolts. I managed the get the upper bolts on after several attempts. The bolts that connect the back to the seat were a complet different story. If I got one side, the other side did not line up. Then if I removed the first one and inserted the other side, that first side would not line up. No matter what I did, it would not line up so that both bolts could be screwed in. You can see in the photos that it's off about a 1/8" but when you are dealing with metal, you cannot just jiggle it in. I also noticed that just after 3 days of sitting outside, it had started to rust. I've emailed back and forth with the seller, provided pictures and no resolution yet. They did offer me a $40 discount to keep it. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. I really like how it looks.

It was the easiest thing to put together and good quality. Sturdy will hold two people that are 150lbs -175 lbs easily.

It is a good simple bench, easy to assemble, don't buy the assembly, it is heavy enough to feel safe, goes well with a modern design house, Good buy.
