Perfect Tub Toy- and will grow! *updated
**Update** We've now had the toy since November 2010, as of last night (June 2011) the pump no longer works. Thought we just needed batteries but after replacing them it still does not turn on. It was a great toy while it lasted, but I do not believe we will be buying a new one since it lasted less then a year. I still maintain my original review, we did not have to replace the batteries very frequently, the suction cups held up well and it provided several hours of fun for my toddler through ages 16-22 months. Pros: low noise level, batteries last several weeks, suction cups and outside material good quality and stands up to toddler 'abuse', variety of uses with different cups and can use other toys with it, Cons: not very much pressure when your child is used to the normal bath tub spout; but to be expected with the very small pump, delay when pressing button to turn 'on' some times causing frustration for my toddler; thinking it wasn't working, instructions say to have the bottom of the spout as near to the bottom of the bath as possible, when filling the bath tub more this allows less room to play, *Ultimate con is that the pump stopped working** Original review: We've had the toy for over 3 weeks and have not had to replace the batteries. Construction is good and sturdy for being pulled and pushed and yanked and otherwise toddler-abused. Suction cups are strong and construction allows for movement while keeping the unit in place. I was worried the pump would be loud but it is very quiet, can hardly hear it at all. My daughter has had fun figuring out the different cups, the peek-a-boo one is her favorite and I thought that would be the one she wouldn't be able to figure out. I can see she will love this toy for years to come. I would recommend it to everyone with kids. I got this for my 16 month old girl. She used to be take it or leave it when it came to bath time. Now that we have this toy she runs to the bath room for bath time. And as an extra bonus, she SITS and plays with it for the whole bath time! Sitting in the tub was a complete impossibility before having the spout to play with! Now she doesn't want bath time to end! For me, bath time went from a whiny "How do I entertain you and stay dry" (not)... constant battle to a... well, really it is just as fun for mommy now-a-days since she has all the fun she needs with this spout!

Great bath toy
This was the best gift at the holidays for my son. He could play in the bath for hours with this and it doesn’t waste water. So far it’s worked great and has fun accessories included. Very worth the money of you have a water obsessed toddler!

Yookidoo does it again, bringing interactive fun to bathtime
This is the third Yookidoo product that I've purchased and so far I am pleased with all of them. The Flow N Fill Spout is a cool toy, up to the level I have come to expect from Yookidoo products. Motorized fountains/sprayers of any kind are always a hit with the kids, and the three water feature cups are fun (spinning wheel, shower and peek-a-boo buddy--I made up these names, by the way). My product actually arrived broken (the motor won't turn on), but I have been so pleased with Yookidoo thus far that I plan to contact the seller and get a replacement. My other Yookidoo products continue to work well, so I am confident that a replacement would function properly. In the mean time, I still let the kids play with this and they are more than happy filling this with our Submarine Spray Station, or just good old fashioned cups/teapots/whatever they can find. Another great product, and I will continue to purchase Yookidoo bath toys.

Can’t get my 18 month old to bathe without it
Hours of fun! Got this for my 18 month old as she loves when the faucet is running. Now we can’t take a bath without it. Functions great! She loves filling all the cups that came with it. The suction is very strong to the side of the tub as well. Very happy I found this well worth the money.

Creates additional fun in the bathtub without having the run the water ...
Pros: 1. Worked as expected. 2. Creates additional fun in the bathtub without having the run the water all the time. Cons: 1. After reading other reviews, my expectations for the life cycle of this product were low therefore 4 stars is okay with me. Lasted about 18 months in total, one day it just did not turn on anymore even after replacing the batteries. 2. There is NO AUTO OFF TIMER. Noisy kids can easily drown out the noise of this product when it is running. So, after the water from the bath tub has drained and it is still running, it will run until the batteries are dead!!! My children like playing in the bathtub until the water is completely gone so I quickly found out that I had to monitor the ON/OFF status of it before leaving the bathroom. 3. It is a given that this product will, at some point, become submerged in the bathtub water no matter how closely you monitor it. When you look at the seal for the battery compartment, it is very insignificant or cheaply made. I believe this is what caused mine to fail, but I am not 100% sure because I could not find any evidence of water exposure in the battery compartment. Depending on your kids, it is very unlikely that your kid(s) will never try to pull it off of the bathtub wall or push/pull it UP/DOWN out of/into the water. In other words, you have to be very strict about how it is handled by your children, otherwise if it is submerged in water for too long it might fail operate in the future.

Toddlers Favorite Bath Toy
We absolutely love this thing! We’ve only had for a month but by far our toddlers favorite toy. The button is easy and our little one figured it out right away. Stream is enough to be entertaining but not enough to go everywhere. Hours have been spent filling and pouring. Toddler loves watching the moving parts and exploring all the different ways the water comes out. Wish the cups were a tiny bit bigger for longer pours but still the best bath toy we own.

Great for a few months then stops working - owned 2 of these!!
We have owned 2 of these in the last 3 years - one was a baby shower gift and then I bought a second one after the first one stopped working for us. I was really hopeful the second one would last at least a year like our first one did but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. They are amazing and work well for a solid 3 months and then they very rapidly fail. Trust me I’ve tried everything from hanging it upside down to drain after we’re finished with bath time, taking the back off and scrubbing the metal springs and battery casing with a toothbrush, and obviously switching out the batteries too many times to count, but nothing has worked. I am almost tempted to buy a third one because my kids love it so much (only for the continuous running water feature), but I can’t bring myself to spend another $28 every 3 months for a bath toy….our tub’s water spout works just as good.
