Lottery Master Guide: Turn a Game of Chance Into a Game of Skill

I purchased this book (Lottery Master Guide) from Amazon last week and then almost immediately ordered the popular set of Smart Luck software that was discussed in the book (Advantage Gold and Wheel Gold 5&6). THE BOOK This book represents a comprehensive study of winning Lotto numbers from all states in the US as well as Lotto games in other countries. It includes info on regular Lotto as well as ‘Powerball’ type Lotto games, but it is mostly about regular Lotto games. Ms Howard has several other books that discuss ‘Powerball’ type games and other games as well. Included in this book are mostly 4, 5, and 6 number games. This book being somewhat technical requires study on the user’s part. It is not for those who are looking for a 10 minute answer. You should be prepared to spend couple of weeks reading and rereading the book as there are a lot of details. However in doing so, you will be rewarded with much better playing odds than just using your grandchildren’s birthdays, your family’s ages or even quick picks. By reducing your odds, you substantially increase your chances of winning a Lotto game. The material in this book constitutes the subject of Forecasting. It is similar to doing charting or technical analysis for stock market picks. There are software programs available that will allow you to forecast the direction of a stock or the market in general. This book is similar to that type of thing so if you have done stock market trending or charting, you will be right at home here. In order to make the best use of the material in Gail’s book, you will need a computer and a spreadsheet program such as Corel Quattro Pro, or Microsoft Excel. Any version of these programs will be fine for this application. It is possible to use a paper and pencil approach but it will require more of your time. I am usually annoyed when I buy a book and it refers to a software package that is not included with the book. This book mentions in several places the Advantage Gold software package that is sold separately. In this case, I found the referral to be quite helpful as the software automates many tasks, such as downloading all the past winning numbers from any game and greatly speeds up the analysis of the number trends. It is not very expensive compared to other forecasting tools. I paid $1200.00 for the stock market software application, whereas Gail’s program was only about $68.00 (on sale). After receiving the software I can safely say that the features provided are definitely worth $68.00. You would have to spend many weeks using Excel to get the same feature set as what is included in the Advantage Gold software. If your interest is less serious or your budget is small, you can cover the basics with MS Excel and the book. The premise of this book is not to guarantee that you will win. No tool or service is going to do that regardless of what they tell you. But if you can reduce your odds from 22 million down to 50 thousand or less, then you are much closer to winning, especially if you play every week. The approach taken here will allow you to play taking into account different budgets. So if you play 5 games per week or 50, that type of thing is covered. I found the suggestions Gail makes to be very helpful and logical, in addition to having a good mathematical base. Since I am an Engineer, I would reject any software that does not use mathematics in a correct way. My guess is that Gail or someone on her staff does have some substantial mathematical training. The book is divided into two areas. First, the theory of her ideas is discussed, and then afterwards, how to use this theory to do forecasting is detailed. She does not call it theory or forecasting, but that is essentially what it is. The book and/or software will help you to choose a set or multiple sets of numbers that have a higher probably of winning then just by guessing. Whether this results in more winnings remains to be seen but if you are going to play Lotto, you might as well use the best information possible. This is the second Gail Howard book I have bought and I love it! This book is not for lazy people! It is disigned for people who are serious about winning the lottery. You have to put time and effort into picking your numbers carefully, then simply use her systems and guide to turn your numbers into winners. This book tells you everything you need to know about the lottery inside and out, while helping you to understand your odds and play smarter instead of playing by pure chance. If you are a true believer of Quick Picks then this book is not for you! If you are not willing to put time and effort into picking your numbers and doing the research of patterns then this book is REALLY NOT for you! I believe that Gail Howard poored her heart and soul into going really in depth with the information in hopes of helping millions change how they play the lotto. I had never played the lottery a day in my life until I found Gails book "Lotto How To Wheel A Fortune" and I was blown away by what she had to say and played my very first lotto game the next day and won $14 off of a $1 ticket. I then ordered this book "Lottery Master Guide" and it made everything so much more clear! This book is an easy read and easy to understand manual on everything you need to know about the lottery as well as step by step instructions on how to use her systems to bring wins on even the smallest of budget. The lottery wins by people using her books speak volumes to how well her system works!

A truly excellent book and the major contribution to the analysis of Lottos. It has a reasonable explanation of Wheeling/Combinatoric issues and a wonderful development of intuitive and empirical behavioural analysis of biased systems. Randomness is a theoretical construct and, perhaps, an occasional reality. Lottos are necessarily mechanical systems, and therefore exhibit timeframe dependent, but sometimes track-able; bias,the public would not tolerate a computerised system for fear of fraud, let alone because of the knowledge that computerised random number generators are decode-able by the lucky few. Some of Gail's ideas were quiet refreshing and creative. Her programmer is excellent and they have obviously communicated very well to design some interesting structures. Whilst the writing and structure of the book is not perfect, making it a significant task to read, digest and develop perspective from, it is the best starting point in this literature space. She is the Galileo of Lotto. "Only Mad Dogs and Englishmen go out in the Midday Sun".

This book is the most extensive you will ever read about the lottery and strategies for playing it. That being said, the information within this work is old and outdated. This is why you no longer hear about lottery players using these strategies and winning, even if they belong to a large club. Gail obviously wrote this material many years ago. The state lotteries read her older books and then modified the rules and number selection, making it much harder for players to win through wheeling and other methods. The book often cites a 49-number lotto game, for example. Today's games typically have 54 numbers or even more. The larger pool of numbers exponentially raises the odds in favor of the state lotto commission, making Gail's older methods ineffective and unusable. Unless you are already a millionaire, you will be unable to afford the large quantity of tickets needed for a single drawing just to try to win. And then your next problem will be logistics. One person alone with unlimited free time and funding still cannot buy thousands of tickets generated by a wheeling system for a 54-number game. Is this a bad book? No, the research is quite fascinating. But be aware that it is antiquated due to changes in the lottery system. You might as well keep playing Quick Pick because the statistics in this book are for games in the past, particularly the 1980's when Gail's methods were revolutionary.

I bought this book after purchasing the "Advantage Gold" software and Wheel 5 & 6 software. I read the PDF manual include with the "Advantage Gold" software, but still had LOTS of questions. This book cleared them all up. In Gail's book, "Lottery Master Guide" all her charts are explained that are contained in the software. In addition shes goes into detail describing how to use them properly. The software "Advantage Gold" has taken many of the charts used in this book and "upgraded" them. The basic function behind each chart remains the same. Who better to explain them than the author herself? If you're new to playing the lotto, like me, you'll NEED this book to get the most out of any of Gail Howard's software. I've enjoyed the software MUCH more after reading her book. Her brilliance is more easily understood once you read the book and intelligently use the software. It's unfortunate that she has passed at the time of writing this review. "Lottery Master Guide" is highly recommended for any level Lotto player. From the most serious to most casual. You'll get something out of this book and win more often! UPDATE: After studying Gail's book and software manuals, I got my first sizeable win. I've been playing my state lottery for less than a week. I hit 4 out of 5 numbers FOUR times in one game by using Gail's methodology! See the pic for proof.

I purchased Gail Howard's Lottery Master Guide, Lotto Wheel Five to win, at Amazon and Gail Howard's Smartluck softwares on Octber 4, 2017. I finished reading both books and took notes to help me understand Gail Howard's wheeling system. I started using the Advantage Gold Plus to pick my numbers and wheeled them using the wheeling software. As a beginner playing Lotto, I thought Gail Howard's Lottery Master Guide, Wheel Five to win and her recommended softwares will give me knowledge and strategy using her wheeling system. It seems good to be true reading her books and using her softwares Gold Advantage Plus and the wheels that I thought will give me a chance of winning a minimum price guarantee. The softwares are $ 242.30 I paid for. I have spent $350.00 on Mega Millions, Power Ball, Fantasy 5 tickets and I won a minimum guarantee of NOTHING. I am not anticipating a big win I will be happy if at least I am matching any of the numbers I wheeled. There was not a single number that matched. So as not to waste my money, I am going to stop buying Lotto Tickets. I just purchased Gail Howard's Lottery Master Guide a few weeks ago. I can't seem to put it down! This book is filled with strategies and techniques that I have never even heard of before. I use to think that winning the lottery had to do with simply buying a quick pick ticket and pray hard when the numbers were drawn on tv, that isn't the case at all! The Lottery Master Guide is a scientific book, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to grasp it. She did a great job writing it so that anyone can understand the strategies and how to imply them to number selection and wheeling combinations. Even though the book is called Lotery Master Guide, it's solely focused on Lotto games and not the pick 3 or 4 digit games. The principles however can be altered to work with them though, such as sums, high-low and even-odd biases. This is a DEFINITE RECOMMEND BOOK for anyone who wants to win lotto games. Remember, the strategies, charts and techniques in this book will help to definitely decrease the odds against you, it won't eliminate them. The lottery is still a game of chance. Strategy and patience are key.

First of all, let me just say that it takes A LOT of WORK and PATIENCE to pull off a success, using the techniques in this book. For those of you who think this book is a 1-2-3 gateway to winfall, think again. Great things hardly come easily. With that said, I have been doing HEAVY testing with the techniques in this book for about a year and the results are confirmed. IT WORKS! The numbers I've generated within that year's time have captured over $13,000 in wins, not to mention the highly numerous Take-5 FREE PLAYS I amassed on a REGULAR basis. In one game I managed to capture 44 FOUR-NUMBER COMBOS! That is simply phenomenal! My recommendation for those who are having trouble with the book is this: 1. Use Microsoft Excel 2. Track the frequency of the number skips - this will tell you which numbers to remove from your final group, reducing your pool to 17 numbers or less! (ex. if a skip of 10 hs been out for five games, check how often a skip of 10 stays out between hits) 3. Play BIG. You can't expect to win big with scared money. I've tried diligently without success. It took nearly $400 to net a $10,000 win. 4. When using Gail's 5-number wheels, there is a feature designed to refine your numbers. You press F4 to activate it. When F4 takes you to the next screen, press F4 at least 3 to 4 times (this takes you toward the higher spectrum). In either of those windows, you will find winning numbers. 5. To hit a jackpot, you will need to use Power Numbers. Sorry, but that was the ONLY way I was capable of capturing a jackpot. I learned this with my experiments that utilized PREVIOUSLY released winning numbers. Even when I had less than 15 numbers in my group, which included all of the winning numbers, the non-Power Number wheels still failed to capture a jackpot. Good luck breaking the lottery! The best book seen so far that explains the 'mystery' behind the Lottery in a scientific and mathematical, yet simple way. It will not simply show you the next numbers to show up in your lotto! You need to understand the book and use it to work hard in order to narrow down the most probable winning numbers in the next game.

Great book. Great information and advice. I have read some reviews about this book, (and some other lottery books by this author) posted, it appears, by readers who did not truely know the information they had in their hands. If you want to advance beyond quick picks, birthdays and random vehicle registration numbers, then use the information in this book to help you choose your lottery numbers more wisely. Luck still has to be on your side, but you will have moved a bit closer to it.

ここまでロトくじを科学的に分析して分かりやすく書かれた書物を読んだことはありません。これが第一印象であり、間違いなく１等当籤に現実味を持たせてくれます。英語の書籍なので理解するには我々日本人にはそれなりの努力と忍耐が必要ですが、￥６００の投資ながら、初めて買ったロト６で末等ながら、一発で当たりました。数字の組み合わせに先立つ数字の選び方については非常に細かく説かれています。データの取り方やその正しい使い方まで書かれており、ロトで人生をいい方向に真剣に変えようと信じて取り組んでいる人にとっては正にバイブルとなり得る素晴らしい著作です。ゲイル女史は既に鬼籍に入られてしまいましたが、天国から私の悲願達成を静かに応援してくれていると勇気を与えてくれる一冊です。英語にコンプレックスがない方なら図表も多く、時々辞書の助けを借りれば理解出来る内容です。１００％の自信を持ってお薦めします。

I had being studying Australian Lotto for about 5 years + and I always get these little prizes. I read the book and a lot of tips and hints improved my selection and I implemented them. I tend to think a lot of people get frustrated that they are not winning huge amounts of prizes. Books on lotto are just a guide' I enjoyed the the books by Gail Howard. (Maybe one day I will get the big one and it;s fun to win.

This book helps on selecting numbers. It is up to you how you apply the formula on selecting numbers. It will not get you 100% but it will save your time and money for playing any lotto game. Howard system works 80-85% and by putting your extra efforts you can make it 100%. By using this book my efforts has decreased by 80% and that have come to me by winning different small prizes after every 5-6 draws. I am sure this will take me to winning jackpot or anyother big amount. Thank you Gail Howard.... 👍👍👍
