Works well
Used it to step down a 48V LiFePo battery bank to run the 12VDC stuff in my trailer. Works like a charm, survived a short with no issue (shuts off, resets itsself)

Works but not over 5a continuous
I’ve got a ton of these. If you run it at 7-8a continuously it will burn up and go bad in a few hours. I have ruined 3 this way. Under 5 amps it’ll last forever, I have 10 that have been in cars, scooters for years. Also I ran one for 3 days at 8a but in a metal tub full of water and that kept it cool enough to not blow but the aluminum got all nasty and corroded super fast. Seriously these are by far better than bare circuit board ones.

Works great. 12vdc from 56vdc li battery
I got a free ego back pack blower, too heavy for me, but 2x 56vdc 5ah li batteries & 2x chargers. Wanted to make a portable power kit, flexible for making 12vdc from 56vdc and also120vac from the 56vdc or plug in to my car 12vdc.
