Container Direct Eastern King Platform Bed, Pearl White/Black

I adore this bed, it's really, really nice and modern. I got three of them for our new house and everyone loves it. It's pretty straightforward to put together with two people. The first one took about an hour, the other two less than half an hour. You can totally use a medium strength power tool to do most of the screwing even though they recommend doing it by hand. One of the best things about this bed is that when you bump into it at night on accident you won't injure yourself since all of the edges are leather and soft. So far none of the beds creak or make any sounds whatsoever when we lie on them, so I'm very happy with these.

I love the design of this bed. It is super comfy and so cute. However it did arrive damaged. It looks like the box took a bit of damage, this gave it a tiny cut to the leather. Which we accepted because it was small and not noticeable. But later when moving the headboard across the room to assemble, the headboard side panel just fell off.(from the third pic is after we fixed it) They attached the side panel with just 3 nails haphazardly placed. We were able to get inside, going under the headboard we removed the staples and from inside screwed the panel back on with several screws. So it is wonderful now and this was much cheaper that the duplicate model at other sites. I guess they can keep the price down by limiting the number of nails they use to assemble this. lol++ 12/14/23~~I still love this bed. It is still solid and comfortable and Low the ground which is great for short people like me. :-)

Delivery was on point, the two-person team was fast and professional. I had prepped my daughters' bedroom for the arrival of the bed and upon arrival started putting it together, unfortunately, while unpacking I found that the left side of the bed was damaged in shipping (assuming it happened during the shipping process). I went ahead and put it together regardless because otherwise, my daughter wouldn't have a bed to sleep on and she was very excited to get it since she picked it out. What I like about the bed (for her) is that it is very easy to put together, even one person can do it within a short time period. The headboard is soft and couch like, which I think is the reason she picked it since she reads a lot in bed. It is very low to the ground which works out great for her, for me, it is too low, but I'm not the one using it regularly. What I didn't like is obviously the damaged piece. Additionally, even though it is very easy to put together, what makes it easy (the plastic pop in holders for the slats) also shows a potential problem if it ever has to come apart to move. I haven't moved it yet but I would definitely recommend removing one side and sliding out the wood slats vice trying to remove the plastic holders for the slats for they look very susceptible to breaking if attempting to remove. I am still attempting to figure out how to repair the leather that was torn and rework the wood to not be semi-deformed on the left side. None-the-less my daughter loves the bed even as-is.

only issue I can see is that if you ever want to disassemble, some of the parts will not be reusable.

I don't really stress over the small things i love the bed frame how it sits low but yes the small footings can alingn wrong on your flooring or carpet if you don't screw them in symmetrically which i messed up a little but I'm not gonna be anal about it lol bed sits perfect for me along with my king size cloud 9 mattress in it im in heaven when sleeping i must say it took me about 3 hours or so to assemble the bed myself but all worth it in the end in my opinion, this bed may not be for everybody but it's amazing for me i also would say i feel it's not worth the price it's at maybe 150 or 200 less that's my only real gripe but other than that I'm a happy camper

This bed is very sturdy. It said you didn't need a foundation which is true but I found the bed was a little low for my taste so I bought a 4 inch folding foundation. The headboard of this bed is excellent for reading or watching TV in bed.

Not sure why this bed has all good reviews. Probably folks getting paid to post good reviews. This bad is so uncomfortably low, but main issue is parts don't match. Bolt holes on left side of the headboard are too high, so adjustable brackets don't help to align height of sideboard properly, so left leg of a sideboard about 1/4 off the floor. **** Update: It has been only one week and thus far only one light weight person was sleeping on it. One of the mattress holder bar has cracked. Not sure this bed would be strong enough for two people. Please see photo

Really pleasantly surprised. I was not keen on ordering a bed online or this style but my husband really liked the sloping back. It is nice looking, I think they should make the feet out of steel vs. the thin material they used, concerned about the longevity...
