Does a great job.
If it's the right size, it'll work. It's not too loud or anything like that. It just quietly does it's job day in and day out. Like, right now while typing this. The workstation didn't over heat today, because it just works as it's expected.

cost-effective replacement for Noctual 92mm x 14mm fan
s Thermalright TL-9015 CPU Fan is an easy cost-effective replacement for my dead Noctual 92mm x 14mm fan. It costs 1/4 the price, and cools as well if not slightly better. Slightly louder at 100% but most people do not run these types of fans all out. 5 stars.

Just what I needed
This was very easy to install into a 2008 HP Compaq Presario that I use as my Linux server. Itโs so quiet compared to the old CoolMaster whose bearings were worn out. No more system fan failure message from the BIOS.

Quiet, good cable management
They are quiet without having an annoying whine. They feel solid for the price. They don't push the most air, but that's expected with this size of fan. The cable management was well done, being encased within the shroud. The cables are fairly short, so a splitter is heavily recommended, even for an mITX build in a sff case.

92mm not 90mm good fan
The low profile is nice, still manages to blow a good air amount. it says 90 mm but it is actually a 92mm fan.

Just like Thermalright's 92mm fans this one is failing after less than 1 year of use!
First impressions of this fan were good. It appeared to be well built. Was quiet given the amount of air it was moving and seemed to be ok. But just like the 92mm Thermalright models I purchased at the same time as this one less than 1 year ago it too is beginning to fail. The fan is making an off and on grinding like noise. I purchased 3 92mm fans and this 80mm one all at the same time for 1 build in Oct 2023. So far 2 of the 3 92mm fans have failed (one locked up completely at less than 3 months!) and this 80mm one recently got very noisy. Very disappointed!

Doesn't have good longevity in my experience
Great for 1.5 years Run in a clean environment for about 18months at limited speeds. Then started making noises that sound like metal-on-metal friction. Significantly below MTBF.
