Excellent Security Cameras ! I have had 3 of these cameras mounted on my home for over a year now and am very happy with them. They are very easy to install, and configure with the app. The app itself is very intuitive, is full of features, and works very well. The included solar panels keep the cameras charged at all times. After detectin motion, the cameras record for 30 seconds, and the recordings are stored on an onboard micro sd card. I am completeky satisfied with these cameras, and for the cost they far exceded my expectations.

For the money, this camera is a great help. Easy to install and captures human movement in a wide angle of vision. I mounted the solar panel on the side of my gable garage roof where it faces south but currently (December/January) only gets 3 hours of afternoon-only sun from the low-to-the-horizon sun in late afternoon, and only maybe two days out of seven. I'm in Mexico for three months and can quickly see via internet what's happening at home in real time, or in ten minute snips when a human being comes in the driveway. To maintain the battery it is better to choose not to get notifications and just look back at the snips recorded on the SD card in standard definition when I get a chance. 128 gb SD should be way more than enough for 3 months. 64 would still have been quite adequate. The real time automatic notifications of human movement are more taxing on the battery but probably would still work and not run it completely down. I have to have a friend brush snow off of the solar panel occasionally.

I bought to install on my shed for some extra coverage. The picture quality is decent and the night mode works reasonably well. This camera has a panning motor and can be panned along horizontal axis. So far in temperate weather, it works, but the mechanism looks and feels flimsy, so I am concerned that it may break, especially when snow and ice enter the situation. Like all IP cameras, this camera suffers from the long delay when requesting view from an app. "Establishing encrypted connection" appears, followed by "getting video feed". This process may take over a minute, which causes me to miss the event that I wanted to check on. I have motion sensors that trip an alarm and when an alarm goes off, I usually check the cameras, but there is no instant picture. It takes a really long time to get a picture most of the time. Sometimes it fails to establish a connection at all and I must retry. All this, despite having a dedicated outdoor wi-fi hotspot just for the IP cameras. Another thing I've noticed is that the camera sometimes pans to one extreme or the other with no user input. I often call up the image and the camera has panned all the way left or right and I have to manually pan it back to center where I want it aiming. For the price, I suppose it's okay. But if you want real security, better to have dug trenches, buried conduit and run hard wire to real security cameras. IP cameras don't work after a storm when the internet is out. That's another downside. They work so-so in ideal conditions.

Very nice quality. Cell phone app is quite good and the ability to view video from anywhere in the world is great. The panning function is awesome. The wifi connectivity is very good. This is one reason why I chose a camera - because it has actual external antennas. Customer service is excellent and they have gone out of their way to help resolve any issues that I did have. The motion tracking is a little finicky but for a live-feed surveillance camera that you can remote view, you can beat this for the great price. The included solar panel and internal battery are more than enough to keep this fully charged even in a dimly lit wooded area. Overall, a great camera and I have three of them now.

Run! It only records for 30 seconds and then stops. This does not help - I need the whole motion detected. I recently ( as in currently) am speaking with customer service. I am on day 3 of going through trouble shooting with them. Online it says "a trustworthy brand that always stands behind our customers" I have not felt that at all. They will make you jump through a million hoops over and over again. I laugh at each response I get from them. If I want my camera to pick up anything other than humans I have to turn off the "humanoid" feature. I find it hilarious that it will pick up the leaves blowing in the breeze every stinking time but will not pick up cars coming and going or people messing with my cars. The last thing I want to be notified for is freaking leaves. If it does happen to catch a human- there would be no way you could tell who it was. VERY blurry - won't help you at all. Picture is clear if it is just recording the tree. Customer support doesn't think this is an issue. JOKE of a company, product and customer service ethic.

The first camera I received failed after a very short time, but I appreciate that the company promptly sent me a replacement. Thank you for that. However, I find myself facing yet another issue: the battery does not hold a charge unless it is constantly plugged in. Also, this is now my fourth solar panel—two came with the cameras, and I purchased two additional ones separately after they also failed to charge the camera after long period of use. Moreover, I’ve noticed a significant downside: if your Wi-Fi goes down, nothing gets recorded to the cloud, unlike some of my other cameras. I live in Death Valley so it’s 365 days of sun & heat, i shouldn’t have to change those solar panels so often!!! Overall, the camera is decent for the price, easy to set up, but here I am back to shopping for another outdoor wireless security camera. I am not sure that Anran will be at the top of my list this time; it seems that you truly get what you pay for.

I really needed a solar camera because I didn't have anywhere near to plugin my device in front of my home. I took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did. I am really thinking about buying another for our backyard. Pros: Battery Life is good. Picture quality is great. Family account sharing is really convenient, each family member can have their own account and view the cameras. The reason I wanted an outdoor camera was because I wanted to be able to record at night. It is very clear and you can see cars and people clearly. you have the ability to record videos that have been captured by the camera and share them or save them in an album. The app alerts are quick as soon as the camera detects motion a few seconds later an alert comes through. Sometimes too many alerts come through but I'd rather have more than not enough. The white camera blends in with my house, unless you are looking for it, you won't see it. The Point-Tilt-Zoom settings works great! We don't use that much, but if you do leave some extra cable so the camera can move freely. Cons: About a month after the initial install, we had a few cold days under 20 degrees and the camera battery came so close to dying. We figured it was too cold to function. We had to bring it back inside and charge it and place it back outside on it's mount. It's been charging for a solid 2 months now without issues. The motion detect can be really sensitive at times and will record the wind moving a branch or bush, you really have to play with the settings. Overall I'd buy again.
