g1/2 is the length of the barb not the width of the threading!!
i suppose this one is on me for not knowing nomenclature here, the threading is 3/4" package arrived quickly and manufacturing on these seems good with sharp threads and minimal flash from injection molding

Perfect for automatic pet watering system
I searched for a long time thru hundreds of brass barb fittings to find these but I'm super glad I did.These were perfect for the automatic watering system I was building for my rabbitry.I used these with 1/2" npt pvc fittings to go from 3/4" pvc to a 5/16 inner diameter hose that would ultimately go to a rabbit water nipple.I didn't need a brass fitting for a gravity feed watering system. That would have been overkill.These threaded in perfect and were excellent quality.I used fastape pipe tape and wrapped it around 4 and a half wraps and zero leaks.Would highly recommend and would buy again.
