Headphone Plug Extraction Tool- Remove Broken Headphone Plug from Headphone Jack of Mobile Devices

Used one to save my mom's iPad. The tools don't feel too durable. However, each extractor is good for a removal or so. Even one successful removal is worth the cost of the order though. They're pretty easy to use, but I'd advise using pliers or needle nose for better functionality and use. Definitely worth it.

This is a great product, especially For the money! I didn’t have to buy a new tablet because these could help me get the broken headphone out of the jack. I recommend using pliers instead of your fingers, since using your fingers can hurt a bit. But it’s really easy to use. 10 out of 10 would recommend this product! Did the tube get destroyed getting the jack out? Yes. Do I care? No, they’re disposable pieces. It wrapped around the jack really well, and I needed all the force necessary to get it out.

They work but they seem very one time use (but maybe that’s user error haha) you have to put them in the port and smack them in which is fine but they get bent while doing so so not very durable. But they did get the broken jack out with no damage and it came with multiple so it’s fine.

Great tool! Thought I would have to get my phone repaired after my aux cable tip broke off in it. Thought I'd give this extraction tool a shot, and it worked on my second try! (Second try AFTER re-reading and understanding the instructions at least). What I did not realize was how important it is to use pliers to firmly griping the broken off piece - this is why the tool is described as a one time use item, as the pliers crush the tube, but captures the broken off jack tip by doing so. The instructions simply said "Pinch with fingers or pliers for better grip", I initially thought it was referring to the little ring that comes with it, but was actually referring to the tube itself, which needs to be crimped to secure itself to the jack piece. I found that using the ring with the short tube that came attached to it didn't leave room for using the pliers, so I used one of the longer pieces and simply pulled it out using the pliers already grabbing (and crimping) the metal tube. Got it out on the second try!

Didn’t work

Worked great for removing a broken headphone jack. I treat these as one time use. If you are doing lots of removals on your shop bench, there are cheaper ways to do it, but for quick removals on service calls these are great and worth the price.

this worked great. other reviewers noted that they had to use pliers to remove the broken part, but I did not. Also I tapped on the tool lightly which also did not damage it.

My son broke the brass headphone jack off into his Xbox controller. Wasn't able to fish it out using tweezers and was not exactly stoked to buy a new controller AND headphone set up. These were easy to use, though it did take me two because I didn't get the first one in far enough to grab hold of the piece; so make sure you tap it in far enough. Definitely recommended, saved money in the long run.
