To be honest with you the case is made of cheap plastic. Only one file that fits its own. But the top does stay on very well.

Does it have a rounded or pointed end?

Pointed end. I have had both but find pointed end more useful.

Where does it say anything about the replacement guarantee? I checked their website and it only mentions that they don't do refunds after 10 days.

I don't think there is replacement guarantee, but cannot say for certain. OTOH, I can get a replacement file at Bed, Bath & Beyond for around $3-4, and it fits the NAIL TEK case very well. I was more interested in the case anyway, as I do want to protect the file while traveling; I keep one in the car, in my knapsack, etc.HTH
