Since I started using these years ago I have never used anything else. One yr. for Xmas I gave all my coworkers one. The only downside is the break if you drop on a hard floor or counter but they last years .

***** I love that this cute nail file, unlike many inexpensive glass/crystal nail files, has nice traction and is rough enough to actually file your nails instead of slip all over the place. It is gentle enough though so that your nails won't shred or split or peel or flake. I really like the case too, as it is hard and sturdy and will be easy to find in my purse, plus keep the file from breaking. I like the short length and find it perfect for my nails. It is easy to clean too--just run the file under a faucet as water will not damage it. It can be sterilized with heat (up to 483F), boiling water, alcohol and UVB lighting. It can even be put in the dishwasher to sterilize it. You just have to be careful not to drop it on a hard surface (like the floor), as it is glass and it could break. It has a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. Who could ask for more than this? Highly recommended. *****

The file itself seems as good as the OPI full version I already had. However, I got this hoping to keep it in my purse but the case isn't really meant to stand to that much "abuse". The lid frequently pops off and I'm not really wanting the file loose in bag since it can break and also scuff things up. For home use (i.e. staying in a drawer until needed) this would be fine, but given it's travel-sized, I'd think the case would be a bit sturdier.

Broke about a week after delivery. I didn’t even drop it or anything. I was just using it and it snapped.

Item arrived quickly to British Columbia and is as advertised, see picture with ruler for scale and packaging. I ordered it because both ends are rounded. Excellent value as an add-on.
