Here's detail that I hope will be helpful. I traveled with these in my cooler when on a journey to a hot country that's just North of the Equator. Daytime temperatures at the end of March were about 27C. I packed the cooler about 7 pm one night into my checked luggage, traveled overnight, and landed in the tropical country at about 6 am. I had to catch another flight and didn't get one until 10:30 am. During that wait, I went out of the airport for about 2 hours with my luggage as the AC was next level! The flight was barely Air Conditioned to my despair! I finally got to my destination at about 11 am, drove without AC to the home... and couldn't find the house keys!! I was locked out for hours. I finally got in at about 4:30 pm. That's 21.5 hours of travel, with the last 5.5 hours outside in the heat. I had given up on my stuff but was pleasantly surprised when I opened my suitcase and realized that the stuff in the cooler was still beastly cold. I had butter, yogurt and heavy cream. The butter was rock solid and the yogurt and heavy cream were beastly cold. Effectively they kept the stuff a little colder than the temperature they had when packed. I was thankful as I didn't want the cream freezing as that would have denatured it. I was absolutely thrilled!! The cooler is great but I'd done that run before. The trip was shorter, and I had less outdoor time, but the items were not as cold.
