Wrench On - Less Skin Off
I've been using this filter for 5+ years on a 2003 Ford Ranger. Love my old manual truck, but the location of the oil filter is horrendous. The wrench-on makes for fewer bruises and skinned knuckles. Seems to filter oil fine, but the clincher for me is that wrench removal.

I've been using K&N Products air filters in all my family vehicles 5 for last 20 years an my home Air conditioning filter I figured I'd give their Automotive oil filter a try H.P.2009 so far so good well built heavy I won't go 20.000 miles 7500 maybe 10.000 miles in my 2007 Ford Ranger Sport 3.0 V6 192000.miles

So Far So Good
It's on a 1965 Austin Healey 3000 oil filter adapter. I was afraid the FRAM filter that came with the adapter kit might fail. Oil pressure runs up to 60psi withing seconds of starting the car so that's good. But it did with the FRAM too. We'll see how it holds up and how long it lasts. I use KN products on all 4 of my cars (3 classics, one new Masda CX50 TPP). But only the AH has the oil filter.

Makes oil change a lot easier
The filter it self is high quality built , you can tell by how much it weigh, by the strength of it, no signs of rust and the seal is absolutely robust. Having that 1" wrench fitment makes the handling of taking that filter in or out super easy and simple. I have a Dodge Nitro 08, it is basically a Jeep Liberty KK - The oil filter there is one of the worst designs I've had ever seen - even with a 1" socket I could not fit a wrench there but taking just a normal nut wrench made that task doable! All I have to say is thank you K&N - I will order this product again.

Worth The Money
Not a “car person” so I can’t tell you if this oil filter has any extra value or performance features versus the cheaper ones, but I switched after seeing the inside filter versus what I previously used. Also seems to be one of the top shoplifted items as I frequently find that people will swap my old oil filter brand inside the boxes of this product, then check out this brand in the cheaper box at our local “Supercenter.” Minus one star for “easy to remove” because it can be tricky and will sometime slip even with an oil wrench, but still recommend this for any vehicle.

Probaly one of the best oil filters on the market
These oil filters are one of the best on the market. They are well made and the hex nut on the bottom of the filter makes removal and tightening a dream

Lexus LS400 fitmen
On a Lexus LS400 the fitmen is very tight. There's a couple of 15mm bolts that need to come off to remove a structure bar in order to screw in the filter, and most likely it will have to be done again to remove the filter. It's quite larger than the OEM filter so this was expected anyway.
