This one works great. I hate suction cup mounts. They barely work and they hate the heat. This solved the problem. Attaches very well to rear view mirror and allows for adjustments. Glad I got this…no more suction cup.

Not only is this working better than the suction cup that the camera came with , it also lets me get the camera cord out of the way by being lower to the dash . It puts the dashcam right at eye level and instead of being off center of the truck windshield it is now dead center and I get a true WDR recording . Installation was a breeze . I do not have my rearview mirror clicked into place because I like to remove it vs fighting it when I use sun shades so that's another plus vs the original dashcam holder . I don't have to fight it when using my sun shade anymore . It was a bit difficult to get the bolts super snug and i have a feeling I'll be occasionally snugging them up again because wing nuts vibrate loose pretty easily sometimes but everything else is rock solid . The low profile is being mostly behind the actual mirror is a major win for me . That and how easy it is to remove the camera from its clip now make it worth much more than what I paid for it . Great design .

Decent alternative to the suction cup most dash cams come with. It includes several different mounting adapters that fit most dash cams out there. My only quirks with it is it's made entirely of plastic, save the screws, so durability falls short. And the fit and grip is so-so. I'm afraid to tighten the screws further and risk snapping the clamps. You get what you pay for. But, it does the job for the most part.

I used this as a replacement mount for my Vava Dashcam mount that failed and left junk on my windshield.. It works pretty well for my purposes despite not being designed for it. No falls yet (thanks to decent metal and a powerful magnet in the Vava cam). + Sturdy: screws onto your rearview mirror + Reliable: it won't be moving around unless you want it to, assuming you assembled and tightened it correctly. + Works great for my Vava dashcam as it has magnetic metal in the screw and threaded parts of one of the included nuts to allow my Vava cam's magnet to adhere well. I had to take off a rough donut that was glued onto the nut to improve magnetic adherence, but that's because this mount not designed for my camera. - Slightly harder to install than a regular suction cup mount, but even a home improvement novice like me can figure out butterfly screws and ball joints. - No all-metal nut included that would have made this perfect for attaching a magnetic dashcam. + It's easy enough to find a magnetic metal nut to add to it.

Wing nuts come loose rapidly no matter how tight you make them. If you want your camera to flop around and annoy you, this is the mount you are looking for.

Not even joking this thing broke the week right after the 3 year warranty was up. I guess thanks for the 3 years, but it was a really suspiciously coincidental ending.

This camera mount is easy to use, and with a little bit of patience, easy to install. It is very sturdy with a lot of adapters. Unfortunately, the adapters that came with the mount, did not fit my camera. Being rather creative, I fixed that issue by taking the ball connector out of the suction cup mount that came with my camera, and fit it to this mount. Worked like a charm! I love the fact that this is sturdy on my rear view mirror, and is only about 1/4" in width. I have a rear view mirror that has all of the "bells and whistles" on it like, automatic headlights, dimming, etc. I also do not have a lot of room near my rear view mirror due to the electronics (rain sensing windshield) attached to the windshield. With this mount, I don't have to remove the camera to put up my sun screen (a must for a anyone who lives in Florida) and, should something happen to my current dash camera, and I get a new one, I can still use this mount without having to remove it from my mirror. I would just have to loosen the screw where the mount ball and the camera ball connect, pop out the camera ball mount, and put in the new one. This is a very simple design, but a much needed accessory for anyone with a dash camera!

My suction cup mount eventually melted from the hot sun. I found this mirror mount on Amazon and I’m very happy with it. There were several different adapters, so I was able to find one that works for me. I was able to securely mount it to my rear view mirror. It was fairly easy to install and it seems to be pretty stable. It hangs just low enough to clear the box that contains my sensors on the windshield, but it isn’t too low that it interferes with my line of vision. I like the design and think it was a good value for my money.

El concepto está bien pero las tuercas de la articulación se aflojan solas al cabo de dos días y la cámara, aunque no se cae, se queda totalmente libre para moverse, no se si será por el calor excesivo del verano… quizás poniendo otra tuerca adicional encima de la principal a modo de bloqueo para que esta no pueda girar se solucione

I could not fit it on the mirror stalk (my fault for not checking) but I clamped it to the dimmer switch underneath the mirror. Works like a dream. 100% recommend it. Prefect for the job.

Uso questo supporto perché l’unico in grado di agganciarsi allo specchietto retrovisore. L’installazione è un po macchinosa ma i benefici sono notevoli. Finalmente non devo più preoccuparmi che la ventosa si stacchi
