It's deceiving
At first like the other reviews say, it does bend initially. I thought it was cheap and ineffective. I decided to chance it and hit it with the impact anyways and it works really good after you get over the initial bending... Is it breaking into shape? Idk I only used it once. But it was way easier than the last puller I tried to use so I am satisfied.

Maybe it would work for you, not me
Not trying to knock this. But it failed miserably. Maybe it would work for someone else, just not me. I returned it. Tabs bent almost immediately. Once that happens, it's over. I returned it. I used this on my 2013 cadillac escalade 6.2l platinum esv L94. Just a heads up, get a 3 jaw puller. Worked like a charm with an impact.

Would Not Fit 2016 Tahoe 5.3, Tool Looks to Be Of Good Quality
After extensive searching, it seemed like this one would work. Unfortunately, it did not fit a 2016 Tahoe with the 5.3L engine. The ears would not engage the balancer spokes. Writing this review in case others are questioning sizing and if this might fit theirs. Tool looks like decent quality, just the wrong size for our job. Ended up purchasing an Orion Motor Tech Harmonic Balancer Puller Kit, Adjustable 3-Jaw Puller, and it worked fine.

Works good
It did the job no issues at all worked great, but it felt like if it could break, but didn't and still have it for next time.

Junk tool, broke on first use, look elsewhere
Super weak metal teeth! It broke during the first use because of pot metal construction. Look for a better quality tool, this one is junk. Oh, and NO, it didn’t even pull off the balancer before it failed! So now back to buying the same tool from a different supplier. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!

Use it correctly
Works great all the bad reviews are from guys who do not know what they are doing if you impact it or just straight over tighten it they will bend any of them. Simple get it snug lightly hit ballancer with hammer tighten till snug again and repeat will come off with little effort if you he man it thats your fault

Works good other than the push bolt is a bit to short. Put a socket on it and finished pulling the balancer off. Working on a 09 5.7 Chev Silverado

Didn't work for me!
06 LS with 200K miles. Bought this to pull the balancer since my 3 jaw puller was broken. All three jaws bent up and out first use. Thought its 20years old, maybe the balancers stuck. Used heat and straightened the jaws in a vise, but it just slips on the back of the balancer. Used my replacement old style 3 jaw puller and the balancer came loose. Tried this one to pull the rest of the way, still no luck it still pops off Old school 3 jaw puller to the rescue!
