Been looking for a non plastic bottle for my son, I found myself in shops every few months buying a new bottle for my son as most companies don't sell replacement spouts or teats for most drinking cups or bottles, making the customer buy a whole new bottle all over again. This I find as a major problem if we are meant to be reducing sales of single use plastic this is a joke and all major babie brands are too guilty of this, but on a positive note some brands are making a change.Nuk has a few metal based bottles (that can be customised with engravements) yes the screw neck is plastic and the teats or spouts are silicon or solid plastic but these are the best. I've found the silicon teats which are interchangeable with the other NUK ranges are more long lasting than other brands and when shook upside down 99.9% leak proof. I only ever found it leak if food had got caught in the holes so a quick rinse it was fine. Now the solid spout again is about 95% leak proof the internal silicon valve is easy to clean and I recommend every time you refill or daily to monitor damage or blockages. When I had placed a part bottle in the fridge over night in summer and handed to my son the next day I noticed it my drip slightly if shock when I opened the bottle and checked the valve some food had caused a slight blockage and stopped the valve doing its job allowing it to leak slightly.So overall a great item and company reducing its plastic usage.The NUK steel bottle has interchangeable tops for easy replacement and to accommodate your child's development from teats, spouts and flexible straws, all available direct from NUK sites world wide or from online sellers.

Good size, nice design and not leaking

I have tried sooo many different bottles for my 17 month old toddler, and I always go back to these. Sturdy and robust for his everyday demanding needs, they do not smell of washing liquid after being washed (IYKYK). He’s not quite there yet to be able to drink out of straws so these are brilliant for being able to drink from without leaking everywhere and getting in everything around him.

Easy to clean and good quality. Good size for my toddlers hands, clip great to clip to big or use a strap. Love the design. However the teat is a small hole would expect a bigger hole for a 12+.

I loved the look of the bottle and how cold it kept my daughters milk or juice . It stayed ice cold for hours which would be perfect for the summerI also love the fact it was leak proof and it was easy for her to carryMy daughter tends to throw everything so this was great as this won’t break . And the fact that it’s metal it felt so much cleaner than the normal plastic bottles and was easy to clean with a bottle brushThe massive downside for me was how quickly she chewed through the teet.She is 13 months old and within a couple of days had completely shredded the teet so is no longer useable as a bottleThe bottle is on the smaller side alsoSo If your little one drinks a lot or is a big chewer this would probably not be ideal . I think for the price it should have a reinforced teet

Perfect, I was looking for a bottle with a soft top for my 1 year old as most have hard tops. This is perfect.
