I discovered I needed a laser pointer for a lecture with PPTs that I was going to give tomorrow. I bought the only one in stock at Office Depot store for $40. It was a dud - it worked only intermittently and was not very bright. After I returned home I saw this product on Amazon. It is bigger (~5 inches), very sturdy and very bright. It only charges through a USB port and works extremely well. It was, of course, much less expensive. Great product!

Me acaba de llegar en buenas condiciones, me gusto el empaquetado es una caja pequeña pero luce elegante para un láser. El láser tiene un buen tamaño, no están pequeño pero tampoco tan grande. Cabe bien en el bolsillo. Algo que agradezco mucho es que tenga un cordón siento que eso lo hace más práctico. Tiene una cabeza intercambiable que puedes poner y quitar. Sin la cabeza es un láser de punto rojo y poniéndole la cabeza te aparece la opción de mas puntos. Puedes ajustar que tantos quieres y que tan separados girándola. Me preocupaba un poco el hecho de que no tuviera cable, ya que al conectarlo directo de un cargador me preocupaba que se dañara por el peso del láser. Pero hasta ahora lo enchufe y se mantiene muy rígido sin parecer que se va a caer. Lo compré para jugar con mi perro y me parece una buena opción al ser recargable ya que no ocupa tantas baterías y lo puedo cargar en el carro.

This laser is super strong, bright, and easy to see. The battery lasts a long time which is good because my dog loves to chase it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for a laser pointer for my cats stronger than the pet store ones that break - but this one is almost too powerful. It’s visible during the daytime. It’s rechargeable and lasting which is nice, and it’s saving me from replacing cat laser pointers every few months. However I wish that somehow the brightness could be turned down!

I purchased this to play with my dog. It is much too bright to use with pets in the dark or in the house but it works great outside in the daylight. This is good for me because his other laser lights can not be seen as soon as the sun starts to come up. The metal case is sturdy and the unit has a nice weight to it. I like that the lens is recessed so it doesn't get damaged if you drop the unit. Customer service is great. They quickly and easily resolved my issue.

Not nearly as powerful as the green. The battery it comes with is garbage, but it will work well with a comparable one you can buy that actually has some heft to it. This is enough to power it for a VERY short time...but the after-market battery I bought lasts a very long time using the same charger. Will reach across the street to scare off the buzzards when it's not very light, but unlike the green one, during daytime hours, it's useless. NOT FOR KIDS and NOT FOR PETS as it will harm your eyes if you look at it or directly reflected red dot. DO NOT LET THE KIDS PLAY WITH THIS. DO NOT DROP IT as it is about as fragile as an egg in that matter and I've had to do a solder repair to get it to work after I dropped it off the coffee table onto the floor. Needs a more sturdy set of springs to keep the battery in place and the little metal tabs need to be more sturdy...they broke so I had to improvise a solution by soldering something in to take their place when they snapped off (which they will do if you try to adjust them).

Great product! strong laser. Needed it to scare pigeons on top of buildings. easily reaches 100m. Loved that it is rechargeable and does not use batteries.
