I recently purchased a Logitech C920e HD Mic-Enabled Webcam to go with a new ASUS desktop computer running Windows 11... I was having compatibility problems with my old Logitech webcam, so I decided to treat myself to a new Logitech webcam... After some research, I landed on the Logitech C920e HD Webcam, as it fulfilled all my requirements and more... After browsing for one at several electronics stores, I ended up ordering one from Amazon due to the stores asking price of $120 versus Amazon's $62 dollars - a 50% savings...!!! It works great and is easy to install - very user-friendly - even for someone like me, who's unfamiliar/unskilled with most things technical...!!! In doing my research, I learned of the Logitech C920e Webcam's numerous functions and features - (1) 2 microphones in stereo, instead of one, so there's no need for an external microphone... (2) A nice, snap-on privacy shutter/lid that provides you with privacy when you want it... (3) A blue indicator-light lets you know when it's on and operating... The Logitech C920e isn’t the absolute best quality webcam out there, but it delivers solid 1080p video for its price. It’s easy to set up and works well for video calls and meetings. If you need a reliable webcam without spending a lot, this one does the job.

Firstly, if you're a professional and looking for a Zoom camera and don't want to spend more than $60 - don't even think about the Logitech c270 - its a toy for kids. My other choice was the Anker C200 which seems like a good deal as it came with more "features". Here's why I went with the 10 year old(?) C920. 1) The c920 has a flat felt base which has grip so it works well on a desk top. The c920 also has a more articulated "stand" which gives you more freedom when it comes to positioning on a table. The base of the C200 is kind of "curvish" so it is not stable if you put it on your desk - which is where I intend to put my webcam. Don't know why they did it this way (sleek/cool maybe?). 2) The c200 surprisingly has a more "shiny" and cold picture when it comes to skin tone. The c920 is a bit more "warm". Personal preference I guess? 3) Out of the box, the c200 seemed to be slightly (not super perceptible) blurrish. I'm not sure if its just my unit or if it would be fixed by the Anker software tweaks but I never tried to tweak it. Pros of the Anker C200: - Its slightly cheaper than c920 when I bought it. - It comes with an inbuilt shutter - though the c920e (which I got came with an addon shutter which was a bit kludegy but works for me). - It has a wider and adjustable field of view. For me the c920 was adequate. - It works slightly better in low light than the c920 but the "cold" hue to me negated this advantage for me.
