I love this little mat. I have in front of my espresso machine and use it as a tamping mat. It looks great and it is thick and durable and much more attractive than those small black tamping mats they sell. It has nubs for traction but they are contained inside of the silicon so that the mat has a smooth but bumpy surface making it a breeze to clean with a damp cloth. It stays put and is the perfect 12x12 size. It is also heat resistant so a hot pot can be set on it if you want to use it as a trivet. The frost color is perfect on my quartzite counters and it protects the counter from scratches. Just wipe it off and it’s ready to serve. Tried to find a reason to buy more and would definitely buy again. Wish it came in larger sizes.

Best pot holders especially when you accidentally leave on hot burner of glass cooktop - don’t recommend doing that but they don’t catch fire

Best silicone trivet EVER! I’ve had a red one for years. Ive been using it underneath my air fryer I recently purchased, it’s the perfect size. Decided to buy this “clear” one to put in front of it, so I can pull the basket out directly on it. It works perfectly! I had such a brilliant idea!

I just spent $7k on new quartz countertops and needed a silicone mat to protect them from the heat produced under my air fryer. I watched countless YouTube videos of people's air fryers causing their quartz countertops to crack. I was looking for something thicker than this model, but this is the only one that was the right size. My air fryer max temp is 400 degrees and this is rated to 450 degrees, so it does the job.

I love the weight and thickness of these mats. I use them on my counter and table to protect from the heat of pans. I even wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher.
