The knives are extremely sharp, and appear to be very durable. And they look even better in person. The pair of scissors was just kind of a bonus. My only slight criticism is that I would have preferred another smallish knife instead of 3 large and two small/medium, but I would still rate the set at 5 stars! Review: Broke too easily - Changed my review, these were a waste of money. One of the knives broke from cutting into soft butter. Would not recommend
