If the question is whether there is a feature to strip the outer jacket of Romex, the answer is no. I have this tool on order (Knipex 13 72 8), but I don’t see anything that leads me to believe it can strip the outer jacket, so if you want that functionality, you will need to use a different tool. Personally, I don’t mind that, and will supplement it with a tool that can strip the outer jacket as needed. Nevertheless, from everything I have seen and read, it appears to be an excellent, forged tool with a very useful set of features.

How is thread damage prevented if the screw cutters aren't threaded? Anyone have experience cutting lots of screw with it?

You cut the screws at an angle. This keeps this from getting burred up.
