Pendleton Mini Hunter 3-Inch AUS 10A Stainless Steel Fixed Blade Outdoor Camping Game Hunting Knife | Shock-Absorbent Kray-Ex Handle, Weather-Resistant Secure-Ex Sheath

This is a perfect little EDC knife that is as practical as a folding knife but much better for hard use. No pivot and the handle is more slip-resistant. The sheath is terrible though. Same awful secure-ex sheath that is the weakness of a lot of cold steel products. The sheaths are fiberglass-filled nylon so they dull the knife if you aren't extremely careful sliding it in and out of the sheath. I bought an aftermarket Kydex sheath online for this knife and the sheath was cheaper than it would cost to buy the material to make it myself. Now this is a perfect pocket fixed blade or even small and light enough for neck carry. Also good for a lot of camp and kitchen tasks. Cooking tasks are best with a knife like this that is easy to clean. Nothing more gross than getting food crud in the nooks and crannies of your folding knife. This is worth every penny even if you end up buying a better sheath.

Love this beefy little knife ! I wish the sheath was a bit more for fitting but it is a classic cold steel knife ! Built to last! I was also surprised it has a good sharp 90 degree spine on it for scraping fire steel!!

It’s a great knife, it comes sharp. Sheathe is good, steel is a solid steel choice. The one con I don’t like about this is that post field dressing my deer there’s actually room for the blood to leak down into the handle/tang area. When I was washing it off later I had noticed every time I squeeze the handle, bloody water would bubble out of the handle to where it meets the blade. Kind of annoying to get fully clean and any amount of water in there could surely rust the tang out overtime and make that blade snap right off.

Solid little user edc knife so far. If I squeeze the handle a bit, I can hear that the tang has a spot that's not fully adhered to the handle material, but so far hasn't created an issue with use. I ordered the AUS-10A version because of the price and they sent me one that was stamped and packaged as 3V. I prefer the 3V, but idk if that's an error on the distributor or Cold Steel. I guess we'll see if it really is 3V in time, but it's a great little buy for sub $30 that I don't mind handing to people if they need a knife. Not my favorite style of sheath, but it's sturdy and does its job well.

Didn't really expect it to be this small, it's actually not when you think about it. If you've got a large animal on the ground then you'll need a larger knife for sure. Not bad for a small skinning knife. At this price, I'll probably buy another.

I grew up processing elk and deer, this would have been an amazing upgrade from something like an old timer or whatever 420 steel pos was commonly available. Those leaving poor reviews it is obvious they have no intention of using the knife for its intended purpose, just want to complain about meaningless details like wanna be influencers.

I have huge hands and I really want to love this knife. Unfortunately it really is just a little too small for me so it's not seeing much use, like it's the smallest fixed blade knife I've ever owned. That said I decided to keep it because it's really well made and would be a great lightweight backup knife in a hiking pack if you did something stupid and broke your main knife. I've never been a cold steel guy but this has definitely made me want to check out some of their larger outdoor fixed blade knives like the full size Pendleton and Master Hunter.

Ein sehr sehr geiles kleines Jagdmesser! TOP verarbeitet! Die Haptik ist auch für meine 11er Hand super! Feuerstahl Bedienung super! Ideal als Backupmesser oder EDC! Es ist sehr scharf! PS. Sollte mal am Anfang des Griffes ein Spalt zwischen dem Stahl und dem Griff endstehen, einfach einen Tropfen 2K Kleber rein! Jeliner Tip für Jäger damit das Blut nicht dahinter läuft! Dieses Messer kann ich ganz klar empfehlen auch der Preis ist für diese Qualität OK! Man bekommt echt was für sein Geld es wird mich steht's als EDC begleiten. Von mir gibt's ein ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!!!! Esweiteren war es nach Bestellung in 24 Stunden bei mir!!! So muß das sein einfach TOP auf ganzer Linie!!!!

This is the ideal small knife for me being lightweight and with ideal proportions for delicate work. The title says VG1. In fact, as stated in the description, this is the AUS 10 Taiwan made one. In my opinion the AUS 10 is the model to get, since the handle is better fused to the full tang blade. As per my previous experience, the handle of the Japanese VG1 model is made of softer rubber and it is not fused properly to the blade, separating a bit when you squeeze it in your hand. This is not good for a working knife, since water, blood or any liquid can get in-between the handle and the blade, causing a mess.
