Does it slide around on a work top or slightly sticks/suctions then peels off? I want to put on top of a chest freezer but don't want it to fall off

It doesn’t slide around at all. As you say, if slightly sticks and stays in place until you lift it back up again. If you put it on a chest freezer it will definitely stay in place without moving around.

Hi could you tell me the thickness?

These mats are around 0.75mm thick. They are quite floppy but lay very flat and seem to be quite strong. I have used one as a heat-proof mat for hot pans on a draining board and it work well. Hope this helps.
