I have a special needs child whom cannot tie his own shoes, and these are perfect for him! I did knot the ties because they slipped out of the shoe eyelets while he was taking his shoes on and off. They are the perfect length for tennis shoes, but nothing larger.

too small and too thin. I bought two different brands, one from HealthSmart and these.The black ones from HealthSmart fit adult shoes. These do not. May be fine for toddler shoes.

After reading reviews about the product, I wasn't sure, but I'd heard these worked better than elastic shoe laces for people who are having trouble tying their shoes. I got them for my friend who had a stroke, and once I got them set up for him, he is able to use his shoes like slip ons. We put them in his athletic shoes since those are what he normally wears, and started two holes from the bottom so the laces would be long enough. That way we did not overstretch them. We'll have to see how they hold up over time, but so far, so good.

These curly shoe strings are good for turning shoes into slip on's. I have used these for years and moved and could no longer find them. But, now I have them again and will always use these. They keep their curl and are very sturdy. You won't have to worry about broken shoe strings with these.

The first time I used these laces I pulled it all the way through like any other laces. You shouldn't do that with these because it will hurt your foot. You need it to be loose as you lace them and then when you put in your foot it will fit comfortably. Laces like these have helped my dad who is older.

I had shoulder replacement surgery 2 years ago and tying my gym shoes during the period of rehab was not an option, but these ties were perfect until I got the use of my arm back to full extension.

Good idea but too short for my Converse Chucks and too short for my Easy Spirit tennis shoes. They made it through all of the eyes but there wasn't enough left at the ends so when you put your feet in the shoes, it slipped out of the first eyes. Might work for kids shoes, but not my adult shoes.

Since my daughter has not quite mentally prepared herself to tie her shoes, this is a great transition. She loves them and only complains when she 1st slides her feet in them. Then she's off to the races. Great product would recommend for 5-7 year olds who aren't quite ready to tie, wrap, bunny ears, and pull tight.
